realistic? hmm... it's hard to get things that aren't real in the first place to be realistic... maybe try making the shades (e.g. on the front of his face and in his mouth) much darker. Also the hair in this is a solid shape. You need to find a technique for getting the hair to be in strands. It always helps to watch videos of other artwotks to learn new techniques. And one very important rule of making things realistic (I think you already know this but i'll say it anyway) DON'T OUTLINE!!! XD Hope this helps...

thanks, i have got a lot better as ive done more so maybe i will improve, i've always found hair and fur difficult
