(reply) I very much doubt you haven't improved in 7 years. Maybe it just feels that way. How about starting with shading of a basic object, like a ball, then move onto a ball on top of that ball and think about where the shaddow from the ball on top will hit it. This is the basic princ.ipal behind shading of anything. It's all objects on objects, like a nose on a face, so even though you might not see a point drawing a bunch of balls, it's good practice. Don't compare yourself to other artists because they aren't you and no two people are alike. Maybe collabing with a friend would help build your confidence. I know collabing has been a lot of fun for me.
