It looks pretty awesome! I love it how you made Mario extra chubby. I think he ate too much pizza. xD
Anyway, to be constructive, the background looks pretty blank. Maybe if you added something to it, like those classic Mario hills with dpts and eyes, it'd look really nice.
I still like it as it is though. I don't think I'd be able to draw Mario this good without a reference. xD I suck at drawing humans. xD
