So let me get this straight... You're a dude who is amazing at this... are you using a 3DS XL? Do you use any reference or something (Not a crime, people! How're you going to draw a tree without first seeing one? The end.) I don't have one, just this normal 3DS. This is a beautiful creation that I enjoy. I'm trying to learn to be a better artist and apparently everything's about technique and whatnot so... Any tips/tricks? Curiosity, is the word for it.
@Silversilk thank you. i'am using the normal 3ds to do my art work. also i do use referance, as in looking at an image on my phone or laptop from time to time. This helps improve my technique when it comes to creating my own art work like this one. A usefull tip you could use, is to look at playbacks of other artist on colors or on youtube to see what techniqes they use ( thats what i do ) to develop your own style. another one is to first draw in all the colors you're going to use, then add on the details after.( learnt this from a concept artist on youtube, forgot his name) hope this helps :)
It does, thank you a lot! I've been trying that for a while now, it works well to watch playbacks... That tip about the basic colors first is a good one, so thank you. Also, it's cool to know you used reference---it's no crime, don't worry. I was just curious because I wanted to figure out how artists can go so quickly from blank to beautiful canvases, to already know how each line flows, the details and texture, etc. You have my thanks and I'm glad you've given me this advice, which I greatly (I read books of older english and get effected by reading it, so it's effecting my vocabulary) Lastly I'd like to say, I think it's cool you're Muslim, I'm Christain---a small and unnoticed group in the corner at best. What's it like? The culture and beliefs, I mean... (*laughs at myself* "My curiosity will be my downfall...")

The 3D looks amazing. I wonder if it would've been possible to add another layer in the foreground where the fire hits the ground?
