Entricians "speak" by manipulating electric pulses in a being's nervous system. As such, they have no language and are universally understood.
To reproduce, they must use a host being of sorts. They offer (by asking permisdion) a host an Entrician "egg", a form of primordial energy. The host willingly bonds with the egg, and their electrical impulses are shared with the "egg". The young Entrician grows and communicates with its host. Eventually, upon reaching adulthood, it detaches from the host and the host is left completely unscathed. This process also enables the host to use the Entrician's innate abilities, and has another side-effect. Although the cause is unknown, the mingling of the two entities allows for both beings to enter a fusion at will, known as a host-embyro combination state. In this state, the host metamorphosizes into a being somewhere between the host's native species and an Entrician. The degree to which this occurs depends on the Entrician's current "age". It can be exited and entered at will, but only can be triggered by the host entity.
Entricians may still bond with beings upon reaching adulthood, and use this as a form of hibernation. The host may trigger a host-embyro combination state at will, and this "fused" form has been the cause of myths and legends, such as kelpies and the more modern "Slenderman".
Entricians emit a form of powerful electromagnetic radiation when near electrical appliances, such as cameras or mobile phones. This manifests itself as static on cameras or a lack of wireless signal on mobile phones. This also muddles the human brain and may have also caused legends to arise due to this confusion. It is commonly believed that this is a self-defense mechanism.
