Across the planet, spiritual energy is formed from the emotions people give off. From those emotions, each ball of energy , or eggling in this case, feeds from those emotions to grow. But feeding off those emotions arent enough, each eggling must form a link with a certain someone that will be there for them and never turn back on them. Once that link is established, the eggling will begin to glow and a release state will commence. As days pass, the fairy within begins to develope and grow based on the emotions and personality of the link they established. Once they have fully devolped, they will hatch and search for the one they forged a link with.

So for example: A fairy that forges a link with a person who is very nice and strong-willed, will also have a nice personality and be strong-willed. Another example would also be, a fairy that forges a link with a person that is mean but puts up a front by being nice, the fairy will harbor a mean personality. The links that the fairies establish are very deep and are based by spritual means. So if onces spirit is dark, a fairy linking with that spirit will be bad and vice versa. So in short, There are good and bad fairies just as there are good and bad people.

Oh and all fairies are females are female. Males form into other creatures.

How fairies die

Fairies die if somehow the link between them and there host is somehow broken. Breakage can happen when:
-trust is broken
-host dies
-fairy dies
-sometimes if the host or partner <(nicer way to say it) gets sick, the fairy will get sick as well
-before birth, if the link established does not match up, a fairy will fail to grow

Elements of a fairy are determined depending on the location of where the spirtiual energy settled.

Example:
-if spiritual energy landed in a grassland the fairy would be a Terra(Earth) fairy. Landing in the sea will result in an Aquaria(Water) fairy.
