He is of a race known as the ogier. Loial is 90 years old which is young for an ogier. He left his home earlier than he should have and his elders arent happy about it. he hides from other ogier because he is scared that they will send him home and marry him so he cant leave. He loves to read and is writing a book on what Rand does. He is also the greatest ogier treesinger for a while. Ogier can sing to trees and shape them into what they want.
