I decided that for my OC refs (when the OCs are humanoid) I will have their handwriting spelling out their name. I think it gives it a bit of flair. :P
It took SO long to get his colors right, I hope he looks alright. I love him.

(Also, I ditched the jacket stated in his descriptions-it didn't really suit him. :p )
This is based upon the comic book history and timeline/setting, etc. Alright, so:
Jerome's father, Albert, left for war when Jerome was only 6. He left his son a pair of leather gloves, which he has worn since they would fit him. Because he was an only child, he spent most of his time with his mother, Sylvia. She was the best possible mother; they would always go on adventures around their home and village, and read or make up stories. They would read the letters sent home from Albert, imagining and making adventures from what he wrote them. She taught him how to cook at a young age as well. Because he was always with his mother, she was able to teach him how to get over fears he had as they came-Jerome became very brave, his only true fear being losing his mother.

What a cute little guy! I'm especially drawn to the colors. They are very natural and well chosen. The bg is very nice and sets the tone well. Great work on this!
