My right hinge broke. My DS still works fine though. I noticed a BIG crack in it earlier this week, I was upset at first but I kind of expected it, something happens to each of my DS's
DS-broke right hinge
Lite-broke right hinge
DSi-L and R buttons stopped working
DSi XL-scratched touch screen(wore it down from using pen)
3DS-scratched touch screen AND broke right hinge
I'll try to use it for as long as I can b/c it's going to take $85 to get it fixed

holy p.oop ;n; I really dont know how to fix that..but most ppl send their games to nintendo when they break..Sorry this isn't really help. I hope your game gets fixed somehow!

Somehow my DS lite lasted for 6 years with only the battery charge being low all the time. 3DS for now is fine :P
