thesuperc, if you have stopped a minute to read the description of the image, you would see the credits to Vermeer. The work was digitally repainted and converted to 3D, a difficult task, so I must sign it.

It looks like some people have the ability to write, but not to read. Even if U hadn´t creditd the original artist people have to known this artwork... it`s part of art lessons in school. I know how difficult it is to do 1:1 copies in 3D (but in another way). So the vision of 3D is your work alone and it is also a unique kind of art. I would give U more "Likes", if I could. Keep up the amazing work! = )

oh, wow, Lucs! i just checked your gallery for the first time in weeks (i've been sooo busy with my family) & as soon as i saw this, before i saw your description, i knew this was Dutch & Vermeer...YOU NAILED IT! it's so amazing...he's famous for using light in new, wonderful ways as well as depicting everyday life & people...of course YOU know that but i am so proud to say that i know you even if only through this application...you were able to capture all the subtleties of light & shadow & transform this into 3D form. So many artists have tried to copy this &/or tried to learn his style of light play & failed-except you...& you accomplishisd this on a tiny screen with a stylus! I think you should be given the title of "Colors3D Great Master" just like Vermeer, Van Gogh, Renoir, etc. etc. Once again you give us all something to aspire to-Thank You!-Letty(anoia)

p.s. i agree, you have every right to sign this as your work-you did the conversion, you get to sign. Oh, and I know that someone has already done a great Van Gogh 'Starry Night' but maybe you could do his "Sunflowers" or Georgia O'Keefe (any of her New Mexico landscapes/buildings) or even some of the old Chinese silk paintings or watercolors (I'm half Chinese, so that would rock!) - Letty

saaytin that's because the community has gone from giving constructive criticism to a child like playground where the decent artist are accused of tracing or are abused for being good, I personally used to love posting my art here, getting criticism helped develop what i drew but getting abused for posting decent art has just pushed me away which is possibly what has happened to the guys you mention above :/

I think a lot of people get jealous over your talent Micky, its a shame some people feel the need to make unconstructive negative comments on the work of others, don't stop posting your work on here due to stupid feedback, I'm sure I speak for a lot of folk who love and look forward to your artwork :))
