Ok bleh bleh she just batted the bird out of air, then took its life witha swift bite to the neck. Then you carry the limp body back into the den, luckily your brother was still sleeping, so you could eat in peace. "Of course he'd see the feathers, so i'll save him a few bites" you think, consuming the warm, bl00dy flesh.

As he stirs you look over, his nose twitching. "What did you do?" he grumbles. "It basically flew into my paws! Really it did!" you insist. He opens his eyes and rolls them. "When I get up I am going to shread your pelt" he growls, halfjokingly but with a serious undertone. Well you knew breaking the rules hadn't been a good idea, oh well.

[11] Eyes wide with terror, you take a leap of faith. Much to your suprise you land on something solid, the water rushes around you as your so-called "solid ground" turns to snap at you. You spring up, and the crocodile snaps off 1/2 of your beautiful ginger tail with ease. You yowl in pain, scrabbling onto the bank. Bounding a few fox-lengths ahead, she turned to inspect her newly sized tail. Although previously able touch it to your nose easily, now that wasn't feasible. She circled, attempting in vain to reach her unattainable halftail. Shinip whimpered in sympathy, nuzzling his sister. "Lets go back to the den and put some moss on that" he said soothingly. Whimpering you rush back to the den, trying to avoid leaving a trail of blood predators could follow. Psh, who needs a tail anyway.
