Goldenstar waited quietly as morning slowly came, she wondered how her new apprentice was doing.

Birdkit yawned, and looked outside, the sun was rising.

(Sorry I'm a bit late! I was working on something for you Trance!) Silvetkit yawned, well rested and hungry. She got up, tumbling a bit after tripping on the loose twig sticking out from her nest, and padded out of the nursery to go her something to eat.

Birdkit pounced on Silverkit, "When was the last time I have talked to you? It's a little more lonely without Flowerkit around."

There wasn't much in the pile again, only the thin mice and shrews that haven't hidden away for leaf-bare yet. The cool leaf-fall wind was blowing in some dark clouds over the horizon toward the forests of MapleClan territory.

"Umm... I don't know when we last did anything together. I've been playing with Flowerkit more often lately, but since shes an apprentice now, I could use a friend." She looked at Birdkit, smiling brightly

Birdkit nodded, "Besides Flowerpaw, I heard theres a new kit named Shadowkit, It would be nice to welcome her to the clan."

She pushed Birdkit off, then looked up at the dark clouds on the horizon. "There's a storm coming..." She said quietly, noticing how the clouds were rolling in faster than normal today.

(There is a Storm coming! MWA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAA!)

Birdkit shivered, "we better take shelter before the storm is here..."

"I've noticed that storms always seem to come around when new cats come to the clan..." She mewed to Birdkit, a tiny bit of nervous rush in her voice.

The storm had already reached the nearest forest to the MapleClan camp as Silverkit nodded, a flash of bright lightning and thunder rumbling across the sky, bringing the start of rain along with it. (EXCITING-NESS!)

(Storms always seem to bring excitement! Yay! I'm just hoping something REALLY exciting happens!)

(TAKE COVEEERRR) "Creepy..." she shivered again.

"Lets hide under my favorite tree!" She called to Birdkit, starting to get soaked by the rain while running to the short tree at the edge of the camp.

A giant crackle of lightning struck the huge mountain in the distance, making Silverkit jump into the air slightly.

The mountains tip crackled to life suddenly, fire brightening it's tip like a candle, the fire not being affected by the rain.

(PUT OUT THE FIRE)
Birdkit squeeled, "Fire! What do we do?!"

She thought, shivering at the thought of the lightning hitting a tree near the camp.

"I don't know!!!" She yelled over the rain and booming thunder and strikes of lightning over head. Another lightning strike blasted over the MapleClan's forest, striking a tree in their forest. 'O'

(Awwww snap!)

The rain seemed to cower away a bit after the lighning hit a tree in MapleClan territory, seeming to encourage the fire that had started after the blast to burn.

It took me a lot of time to draw Chesnaught.I used the Pokedex in Y.Not the best I did,but still.It's cute. >W<
