Just a practice picture. I want my pictures of my new adopts Romanche and Nebula to look nice after all. Can anyone who is good at drawing canids give me any tips? #Wolf#puppy#practice#doodle#dog
Well, the pics will look nice any way you do 'em. :D I can give you some tips though. Like, on the front legs, wolves and other canids have very pronounced shoulders. Not as much as cats, but it sticks out some. Shoulders as in chest, not back and spine.
This looks purtay gewd. Only things though: The tail is a bit too long, and the part where it comes off of the buutt is too thick/poofy. It also looks a bit skinny around the belly area.
While I'm not the best at wolves (Quadri and Takkie are amaze,) I do have a few atonomy tips. (I got the atonomy of canids down, they just all look like german shepard in the heads.. ;w;) The tail is too extended for a wolf. (they have normally short, puffy tails) I'm not going to tell you what Tak and Quadri already said.. :P Also, here's a tip for showing fur: Draw it slowly, and make the fur lines slightly transparent. It looks like the wolf groomed his fur too hard, and it bunches in hairy knots, especially on the tail. Also, Nebbie is more of a shibe, and there are tons of Shibe pictures on the interwebs that can help you. ^w^

Name is fine, but not the size. Too many people are using big cats, so it'll have to be average or medium big

Re: Oh, you should've seen Crest when I first created her. XXXXD Except I kinda cringe when I see my old art of her.
