this guy is such a bada.ss. In a battle between vash and knives/gung-ho-guns , this is a non-super human who survived the madness that happened on planet gunsmoke for a LONG time#anime#trigun constructive critisism is much appreciated

Okay dokay.
I’ve never seen this series but the main details I see is a guy pointing a gun at someone, at least that’s what I think it is. He’s inside a building and there’s a shelf behind him and a glass table as well. There’s also a door in the background. This appears to be an anime-like drawing.
The shading is very odd and dark, and the style of some of the drawing looks sketchy and liney. Very dark contrast.
This drawing has sort of a creepy feeling to it more than coolness or whatnot.
I really think this needs more work into the style and proportions of this drawing, a lot of it is off. The table in the background looks a little uneven and it makes the character look really tall. The character himself reminded me of slender man when I first looked at this, his body is very skinny-like and with the style of shading you used, it looks like he doesn’t have much bones in his arms. The shading is too dark on the character and table. One important thing about shading is that certain things are never usually pitch black like this. Most shading is very dark, yes, but natural objects (like wood, most clothing, and hair) don’t have shading that dark. The blackest natural thing would be the pupil of an eye. The guns are also way too dark, I couldn’t tell what they were at first. The details in the shelves behind are a little sketchy and have an odd angle compared to the character. (the door in the background also needs to be a little neater) Now for the character, his neck is a little too long and his hair needs more lighting. It blended in too well with his glasses; I couldn’t tell if what the glasses were at first. If that’s a glass table, then it needs to be a little shinier as well. Also work on that body anatomy to make it more natural and put creases in the clothing where needed.
Sorry for the long description of the errors, but I’m only pointing out the things that could use the work. This piece probably needs to be redone if you’re going to fix it. :/
