Story:After their battle against Misty and Brock,both Michael and Cameron finds out the blocked path to Union cave has been cleared,and now Michael can finally face Bugsy in his hometown Azalea town.But Cam had his own goals in mind,probably planing to head back to Kanto to complete the rest of his badges,but douptfully.So Michael returned to his hometown,defeated Bugsy and was ready to move on to the next gym leader.But during his travel through Ilex forest,Legend was waiting for nim.Michael seen Legend before,but never in person.He was always spying on him,came out to save his neck from that encounter of Dogonda.Michael still sworn he seen Legend use something rather else than a Pokemon,almost like as if he is gifted.But anyways,here he is,just sleeping against a tree."Hello?"Legend woke up,and to Michael's surprize,he recognized Legend right away,but not his name,not till a while when Legend said he wanted to test Michael.To prove his skills and see what he has learned.So,just like usual,Michael sends out Riolu,his best Pokemon.Legend chose Emboar,a fire type.But Michael wanted to better himself,and Riolu.Riolu fought with all he got,using speed,so Emboar wouldn't catch him.Legend seemed disappointed it seems,even though Michael has the most of the rope in this battle.But that all changed,when Emboar was ordered to step it up a notch.Step it up?As in,give more of what you got?Michael shouldn't be surprized.He was fighting a top ranked evolution after all!Riolu was forced to pick up the pace as well,getting knocked off guard with a super effective attack.He was barely able to hang on there,but made short recovery to continue.The battle waged on,Riolu getting tired but continuing to fight.Michael doing his best to advise Riolu of his next cordinance of attack!And then it happened,Riolu evolved!Legend smirked,almost as if this is what he was waiting for.Lucario,still tired and beat,was rasing his aura levels to boost his strength.

Lucario was able to fight Emboar at equal grounds,beating Emboar at a no chance win.Michael was gonna win this match."Emboar,time to give it your all!"Said Legend.Your all?Michael thought.Suddenly,the tables turned.Instead of Lucario beating Emboar,Emboar was beating Lucario.Michael just couldn't understand!Why and how was it that a Emboar could be so powerful?Holding back all his strength?It all seemed too reasonable why Legend was called Legend!Michael panicked as Lucario was being beat.Michael was calling a yeld,but Legend refused to stop.
"If you can't defeat me,what makes you think you'll have a chance against other dangers that'll cross your path?"By this time,Lucario was shortened of his breath,coughing so hard,he spat up red."Emboar,help him find his feet.""Legend,stop this right now!He has enough!"By this time,Michael yelded and called back Lucario."Don't worry,I'll take you to a Pokemon center."By that time,Legend decked Michael in the face and took Lucario from him."Pokemon aren't glass,you should learn that by now!""He's hurt!""He'll recover."Legend replied.

Wat trainer would be dimwhitted to send lucario against a fire type? You'd have to be mad or have speed on your side.

yeah.. unless its a fire dark or something lucarios toast. literally. a peice of toast. with ears. and a tail

Michael's only Pokemon at that time is Lucario a Mightyena and Cam's Umbreon,so Legend threatens to keep Lucario if Michael doesn't catch about six Pokemon,train em and find Legend in a week!

The story wasn't told right,many rushed thoughts and such.Real reasons:Riolu is his most relied Pokemon,Mightyena has a talent to disobey and Cam's Umbreon sleeps on the job!Okay?!

But as i recall emboar is a slow pokemon in exchange for power, If the lucario had a rock move like say....maybe that rock move that effects even flying types, idk the name.

this trainers pokemon remind me of ash's Charizard uptill when it stayed in Charizard island.
