Thorn's Story Chapter 5 by Dragonologist

Sorry for the kinda boring illustration. The sillhouette is of Thesar, I decided to draw his sillhouette becuz I don't know how he looks like. Also I think I'll just upload a chapter whenever I finish it.
Anyway here is the story:
He grew a bit every day, his eyes became red, and he became more aggressive and grumpy. He didn’t play anymore with his children, didn’t nuzzle anymore with Lia, and didn’t seem to love them anymore. One day, when Thorn was sleeping, his kids wanted to play with him. “Daddy, daddy, daddy!” They yelled excited as they ran to him. Thorn let out a growl, and opened his red eyes. He looked annoyed at his kids. “What do you want from me?..” he said on a very annoyed tone, hoping he could go back to sleep soon. “Hey daddy, want play with us?” Thesar, his oldest son, asked Thorn. Thorn looked at him and let out a deep growl. “Leave me alone…” Thorn said softly but on an angry tone. His kids looked confused at him. “But you always loved to play with us” they said. “Playing is something for fools…it’s a waste of time…I hate it” Thorn growled. “B-But-“ Lisa said. “Now leave me alone! Thorn roared, interrupting her. His kids quickly ran away terrified for Thorn’s sudden burst of rage. Lia quickly ran to Thorn to see what was wrong. “Why did you yell at them?” Lia asked worried. “They woke me up when I was sleeping, just to play with me…the little lizards…” Thorn said annoyed. "Thorn! They are just kids! And how can you call your own children lizards!?" Lia said angrily. "They might be my children, but they are very annoying...they need to get some discipline...Or else they will feel my anger..." Thorn said while his red eyes glared angrily at his kids who where playing outside. "Thorn..." Lia said on a sad tone, wondering why her mate turned so aggresive and mean. "Now if you excuse me, I am going to take a nap." Thorn said as he walked deeper into the cave. Lia looked worried at Thorn. "I have to keep an eye on him...I am afraid bad things are about to happen" she thought to herself. And she was right.

I'm almost scared to read the next chapter... >.< This is an awesome story. I love to see someone who enjoys writing dragon stories as much as I do! :D Keep up the great work!

I fear what will happen next. I like how you made Thesar a silhouette, as it makes Thorn have greater emphasis and makes him seem more intimidating.
