Three and a half hours, by far the longest I've ever spent on a painting. And I'm quite impressed. :3
The cross-hatched shading is inspired by #Acidwolf, who used it beautifully in her raver Acid picture. Check hers out. :3
Anyways. I would be stupid not to put this in #BestofLex. Everything about it is perfect to me.

RE: I'm glad too. Nobody I know is interested in video games much, so it's nice to know someone who is. :3 Also, what do you have trouble on in Wind fortress? If it's the jumps, try feathering the gas on the booster. You can go far.ther that way. To beat the gun clones, fully charge the Spur, and then blast them. Just stay behind cover whenever possible, because they HURT. XD For the boss, ignore the clones and just blast the screen. Stay in the air as much as possible, and try to keep your Spur fully charged. My record is 4:50. I've stopped trying to beat the Nemesis Challenge, though. The last part is just too much. XD

There's nothing to laugh at, that's a really hard part. :p Practice with the booster, though. Once you get good at feathering it, everything becomes 10x easier. You'll get it soon. : )
