Mike left Gryphon because he knows that one time Gryphon goes demon he'll k.ill Mike. Gryphon has been getting progressively stronger, so... Mike left. Gryphon understood.
Mike actually hasn't left yet though... He doesn't know when he will.
Since Gryphon knows he's leaving soon, they're going to snuggle-sleep for probably the last time.
