Now this request was interesting because black is definately a dark hue (it's actually not technically a color, believe it or not). From that, instead of using a dark gray, I went for the real hue and used a tint and shade of gray for the highlighting and shading for this request. ; )

This is also one of the few Swirlors requests that took a small amount of time to make, which really surprised me. 8 J

I actually realized that I forgot to get rid of excess paint on part of the 'K'. Oops! X )

I think it turned out very well! :D I wouldn't be able to take the color black and make it look this cool! *w*

MintynJeb: Yeah. I didn't feel like going for a dark gray, like I use for coloring my Mii character's hair and eyebrows, since it would be considered a 'dark gray' to others. ; )
