Is Nintendo Finished? by CuriousPokerChip
My friend at my college mentioned that Nintendo, like Sega is no longer making consoles and instead focusing on making just video games. He got this from a news article Satoru Iwata did, and he says they are doing this because of the poor sales of the Wii U and the competition from the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. I couldn't anything on the Internet confirming this, but I only briefly glanced.

@Gamesaddict43: You're right. It would be weird to see Mario or other Nintendo series in a Playstation or Xbox game.

@CuriousPokerChip: I don't know what to say... It like Nintendo is going to fail selling Wii U & Nintendo 2DS like SEGA selling Dreamcast... it would be sad to see it fail... :(

Don't worry there's one more hope... they'll release SSB for Wii U/3DS and Nintendo will hope that the sales of this will rise with the Wii U and 3DS

@EBCrazy2 While I think Smash Bros. will be profitable, I don't think it'll exactly save the console from the brink of destruction.

I heard they might let microsoft and sony produce nintendo games on their consoles. The issue with that is it will put nintendo out of business altogether. It's sad because there is a great deal of potential for the WiiU. As for the 2DS I feel that was a huge waste, they should never have made that. They went from superior to inferior with that clunky junk model. Big waste of funds right there.

Hmmm, I've heard because of the bad sales that they cut the workers pay in half and also coming up with a new fitness console in 2015. I think Nintendo does perfectly in the handheld market than anyone else

They r only making games cuz if they make games, for instance, the Wii U, more people will want to buy it to play those games! they have a Wii Mini now and its basically a carry around Wii! They didnt stop......nor will they ever stop....
