Dispite looking like a ball with wings, it is a bat-like creature.
They are the size of a human head (or larger if it eats well).
It eats the liquid in the black curl trees that seems to have alot of nutrients.
Theys creatures are normaly pasive in nature but they can also be trained to attack anything, spy on a target, or be a servant to help its master.
It is unknown if shadow bats can cross over to the overworld(Earth).
