Thorn's Story: Chapter 2 by Dragonologist

Finally your patience will be rewarded! Oh and this is Thorn, his eyes used to be yellow. Anyway here is chapter 2:
He saw a horrible scene. His dad was holding Noah’s neck, which was bleeding heavily. Noah struggled to come free. “Let him go!” Thorn said while crying. His father grinned, then bit Noah’s neck very hard. There was a crack. Noah looked at Thorn with dull eyes, and a last tear ran along his cheek. Noah stopped moving...he died…”No…NOOOOOO! How could you!? You monster, I hate you!” Thorn yelled while tears blinded his eyes. His father just grinned, showing his bloodstained teeth. “If you hate me so much…attack me! Hurt me! Come on! Show me your rage!” His father yelled. Thorn considered doing it, but the realized he would be just as bad as his father if he would do that. “NO! I am not like you! I am not evil! I can control my rage!” Thorn yelled at his father. “You’re weak! You’re just a weak worthless lizard” His father yelled “I’m not a lizard…I am your son…but you never treated me like your son…I am sure if mom would still be alive, she would tell you to treat me better!” Thorn yelled at his dad. There was a flash of emotion in the eyes of Thorn’s father. He remained silent for a while, memories flashing trough his mind. “No…you’re not my son…you were my son…but now you’re just a weak lizard…You don’t deserve any love…” Thorn’s father said softly. He slowly walked away, then took flight and left the island. (tbc in comments)

Thorn looked at his dad flying away, still crying loudly because of the loss of his best friend. His heart was broken...Thorn's father never came back, and Draco didn't want to play with Thorn anymore after he saw what happened to Noah. Thorn lived alone for many years, taught himself to hunt to adapt himself. He became a strong, big dragon. But he felt very lonely, the only company he had were his memories. One day when he was on a walk, he met the most beautiful dragon he had ever seen. Her name was Lia.

Thorn's story is the saddest story I ever wrote. This isn't even the saddest part, it gets even more sad later in the story.

Aww, that's so sad... Why did you think this chapter isn't as good as the first? It's amazing, I can tell how much Thorn must have hated his father then. I also like how Thorn didn't want to be evil at first.
Great work, I'll be awaiting the next chapter. :)

@radiant I don't know. I still don't really like this chapter. I think it misses something, or something is wrong with it. But I don't know what.

@radiant I think it misses some detaills or emotions or a better use of words. I write on a quite boring way.
