As Moth and Leah stared out to the sea, Moth brewed a sick plan... Gigi, Prisma, and Svyla wouldn't know a thing. With a sly smile, he asked his sister, "Hey Leah, want to play a game?" Leah looked at her brother with her big, crystal blue eyes. She nodded, swallowing her fear. /Moth wouldn't hurt me... he loves me, even if he doesn't show it!/ Moth began to dance away, up a rock wall. "Catch me if you can!" Leah smiled timidly, and bounced after him, up the cliff that draped over the ocean. Behind her, she could hear the ocean splash and sand kicking from her small paws. She was gasping for air by the time the pair reached the top. /I wonder what he wants to play! ^^/ Leah thought, believing the playful look on Moth's face. "Alright Leah, we are playing hide and seek! Go to the tip of the cliff, close your eyes, and count to a hundred!" Leah nodded enthusiastically, and skittered to where she was told.
She obediently closed her eyes, and began to count. /One, two, three, four... oh,what comes after that? Oh yeah! Five...!/ She flicked her tail with every number. Moth began to creep up on his sister, carefully planning his jumps from rock to rock, silent as a liepard. Not before long, he was right behind her, his breathing shallow and his eyes were slits. With movements almost unnaturally fast, he shoved her off the edge. Leah's eyes snapped open, only to feel the weight of gravity pulling her down, and to see Moth watching silently. She hit the salty water with a splash that knocked the very breath from her lungs. The surging water pulled her away from the shore, beyond anything to help her swim. With what little energy she had, she paddled her way up. She burst from the water, her muscles aching from strain, and lungs burning. She coughed, and it wracked her body with pain. A log flew from above, landing several feet away, she could barely see her brother tossing it through her salt filled eyes. She swam to it slowly, the current slightly aiding her. She climbed upon the branch, coughed, and passed out. "Good bye, Leah."
