Feather yawned and stretched her forelegs. She blinked when she realized she wasn't alone. Amei, Kiro, and Amber had stayed with her.

Can I use my OC Autumn?

Kiro blinked his eyes open and yawned. His side still hurt, but it surprisingly wasn't bad. He looked at the wound. It was carefully bandaged, and it wasn't bleeding. Kiro allowed himself a small smile.

Amber raised her head, looking at the others, "Mornin' y'all," she mewed, sitting up to scratch her ginger ear.

VioletEye's ears stood straight up at the sound of other cats she heard near by. She opened her eyes widely at stood up, ready to search for what she was hearing.

" 'Morning." Kiro dipped his head in greeting and began to lick his fur clean.

"Yah!" Violet jumped back. "It's been far too long since I saw another cat." Violet cleared her throat and said "Sorry if I spook you, heh. I'm, uh, VioletEye. How bout you guys?"

(you do? cool! :D so... i dont know if you saw, but im working on this story thing... its called Clockwork Maiden... and i wanted to do a sort of amv/trailer animation for it. any ideas as to what program i should use and so on? im relatively new to this.)

"Yeah." Kiro flicked his tail as he licked himself clean of the dried blood. "The weather wasn't perfest, but hail was the last thing I expected."

Amber nodded, "Yeah. Feather just said she has quite the bruise on her shoulder from it."

"I hate hail. I was getting pounded like crazy by that stuff." Autumn frowned and rested her head on her paws.

Amei stood up and stretched. She smiled and looked up at the sky. "Did everyone sleep well?" Amei looked back down at the others.

The pregnant cat rolled onto her side and gently closed her eyes, tired of waiting for her husband to return from his hunt.

"I don't see how anyone could've gotten a good night of sleep, Amei." Autumn chucked and looked up to Amei.

Feather raised her ears, noticing Autumn. She tapped her tail.

"I don't know Feather," Amber mewed.

Amei blinked. "Well.... I did. I learned how to block out sounds so I can sleep." Amei shrugged. "If you live in the city, then why haven't you adjusted?"

"Well, I guess I didn't sleep that badly... but I guess I was pretty exhausted." Kiro answered Amei.

(*is starting over*) Autumn awoke to the sound of other cats close by. She sniffed the air. "A whole clan... Perfect." She smiled and stood, begining to walk toward the other cats.

Amber blinked, "Where do ya reckon we should go now? It looks like it might storm again."

(Do people who have been present for every RP get priority?)

Feather shrugged, looking at Scratty. The small she-cat hadn't the slightest notion as to where they were.

"Um, hi..." She mewed quietly, stepping into sight. "I'm Autumn. My husband and I are having kits and, I was hoping we can stay with you guys? At least until they're born?" She smiled nervously and bent her neck.

( @Phantom: Yes. And this will have more people in it. Not as much as AuroraClan though.)

Kiro shrugged. "You mentioned you have a place to stay, didn't you? We could shelter there, if you're fine with it, but we need to find some food first."

Feather then flattened her ears. Were they really that con.spi.cuous? How was it that virtually every cat seemed to have noticed the small band of vagabonds?

Amei shrugged again. "I don't know. All I want to do if find Slash." She looked around. "Is there a way we can get food?"

Amber nodded, "Yes... but we should help these other cats first."

Amei picked up her brush and trotted over to Feather. "Waht is et?" She said, still holding the paintbrush in her jaws.

Amber stood up, "We have no leader. Well, Feather seems to have led them most of the way."

"I guess I'd call Amber leader." Kiro said. He sighed quietly, then seemed to come to a decision. He stood up and smiled at the newcomers. "Name's Kiro."

"Oh. Well, if it helps, I think we're in New York..." She looked away, trying to remember if she was correct.

"New York..." Kiro mused. Thanks, Autumn. I think you're right. "

Amber stepped out of the garbage can to stretch. She turned her attention to Scratty, "No. If you want cobwebs, look on dumpsters. Poppies don't grow here."

Amei blinked. "So sunny for New York...." She murmured. Suddenly, she looked back at the others. "What will we do?"

Kiro looked up at the sky, barely visible between the huge buildings. "Well, we should get something to eat." he suggested. "Also... You mentioned another cat. Anubis, correct? I'd like to meet him."

Amber nodded, "C'mon. My house has amazing food. Not that gross stuff that looks like rat droppings."

Amber flicked her tail, "Not very far. Only two roads away," she meowed to Kiro.

Amei swished her tail. "When should we head out?" She heard her stomach grumble.

"That's good." Kiro straightened his posture. "I'm ready to go, then."

Amber looked at Amei, "We leave now. I smell another storm. Besides, look," she motioned toward the sky with her tail, "The clouds are green. That means snow."

"Snow?" Kiro flicked his tail in annoyance. "Not exactly a good time of year, huh?"

Amber nodded, "Winter's pretty bad here. Now, let's go." The ginger she-cat began padding out of the alley, Feather right behind her.

"Seems like it's always cold and rainy in cities." Amei said before picking up her brush.

(The cats aren't coming back there though :P Scratty could just follow. They're getting food anyways.)

"Yeah." Kiro agreed. "In the other city, we had bad winters too..." he trailed off suddenly.

Feather and Amber padded onward, stopping at the sidewalk to look for cars.

Eddy looked at Mako, "Should we stay here? Or try finding better shelter?" he asked.

Eddy licked his lips, deep in thought. "Well, since it's gonna storm again, I think we should find somewhere safer. It'd suck if we were trapped in a garbage can because of a wall of snow," he joked, twitching his whiskers.

Amei followed Amber and Feather. She looked at the dull buildings and flicked her ears as she walked. Amei glanced at Kiro and blushed slightly. She quickly looked away.

Eddy grinned, "Okie! Where to?" he asked.

Amber stopped to sniff the air, "Alright, we're close now," she said.

Amber smiled, "Yup. Right over yonder," she mewed, waving her tail toward a nice house. So nice it even had a small yard, which led toward a small forest(fairly large), which was where Amber and Feather had lived for a long time.

"Oh!" Kiro was truly surprised. The house looked nice, and it lacked the sickly white color of the Lab. It looked like a good place.

Amei sniffed the air. With her brush in her mouth, she grinned as she spoke. "We're armos dere? Grea!" She was glad that they could get food, she was starving.

Feather raised her tail, twitching it excitedly. Amber smiled at the young tabby, "Heh, yup. Your kits missed you Feather," she mewed. "Alright," Amber began, "Let's go."

Eddy followed, staying close behind Makoto.

(How old do you guys think I am? And the people who already know, dun tell the others.) Amei gasped at the house, unfortunately dropping her brush. "It looks so much nicer than the other city buildings!" Once she realized that her brush was on the ground, she hastily picked it back up.

Amber purred, then trotted toward the house. Feather followed.

/Kits?/ He wondered. Kiro padded forward. Looking at the house, he didn't notice where he was putting his paws. "S-sorry!" Kiro jumped back, having bumped into Amei.

Feather twitched her whiskers in amuse.ment. The band of cats were finally at the door.

Blushing slightly, Kiro backed away to join Amber.

Amei jumped back a little and blushed. "I-it's okay." She stuttered, barely keeping the paintbrush in her mouth. Amei quickly looked back toward the house. "That house looks perfect to paint on. Doubt the human would let me, though." she murmured to herself.

Amber looked back and smiled, then stepped up onto the white wooden porch. She pawed at the door, meowing loudly.

"Paint on?" Kiro was quiet for a moment. Suddenly he smiled. "Maybe not, but there's something you probably can! I've seen two-legs use these thin, strange white leaves to create markings on them. I bet you could get some of those to paint!"

The door opened, and a woman, around the age of twenty, was standing there. She smiled, "Hey there Amber, hey Feather, who're your friends?" she asked, looking at the cats. A handsome sand coloured tom rubbed against the can-opener's leg, purring loudly.

Kiro was once again taken by surprise. This two-leg was so gentle, she didn't yowl or flail at them with her paws. He turned his attention to the tom rubbing against the two-leg. /Is that Anubis?/ he wondered.

(Heh. I'm six solar sweeps. AKA 13.)
Amei smiled at the thought of her own leaves to paint on. She looked up at the human with curiosity. This one seemed friendly. Amei swished her tail and expected the human to hurt her, but she didn't. "So this human's nice? I didn't think any human could be....."

The human, Anna, bent over and gently rubbed Amei behind the ears, "Hey little fella," she glanced at Kiro, "Oh, you look hurt... Amber, Feather, your friends can come in."

Kiro looked at the two-leg. She had such a kind voice. It reminded him of another human, but he wasn't sure who. Giving a thankfull nod, Kiro stepped inside.

Amei flinched at the sudden touch. Humans usually threw things at her, so this soft contact wasn't something she was used to. Amei was tense, then relaxed. She purred, closed her eyes.

Bounding from room to room, she looked for thin white leaves like the ones Kiro mentioned. So far, her search was fruitless. Amei stopped in a large open room with many sitting places to rest.

Feather came back, two kits toddling after her and one, a small tom, in her mouth.

Anubis blinked, "Yes... those two know much about your wild ways. They lived in the forest for many moons before meeting me," he meowed, licking his extremely long tail. (He looks a lot like a serval. And is only a bit smaller then one.)

Anna walked into her kitchen to make kitty noms.

Kiro looked around. Everyone seemed to be busy with something, even Amei had dissapeared somewhere. He wondered what to do.

(I've fallen asleep with my DS MANY times, but so far I haven't with my 3DS. Once or twice I almost did, though. My curfew is 9:00, but I stay up on Colors! until two or so in the morning, even on school days. I do have a ten o' clock curfew on Fridays and Saturdays, though.)

Feather th.umped her tail on the wood floor to get Kiro's attention. She wanted to show him her kits.

Kiro nodded. "I've only lived in the forest for a short time. Most of my life I was imprisoned by twolegs who tor.tured animals for no reason at all. They kept us in small, dark rooms and sliced us open to see what was inside."

Eddy shrugged, "Dunno. Maybe in an old human nest?" he suggested.

Anubis grunted, "Many can-openers are horrid beasts. Anna, however, is the kindest I know."

"Yeah?" Kiro turned around to look at Feather. He had to admit the kits were beautiful. He hadn't seen many, but there was something special about them that made him feel happy. "They're wonderful, Feather." he told her.

"So that's her name? Anna?" Kiro tested the name on his tongue. "She's the nicest one I've ever met." he admitted.

"Huh?" Kiro jumped at the sudden sound. "What was that?"

Feather smiled at Kiro, then jumped at the sound of Blue falling onto the floor. Anna gasped in alarm, nearly dropping a china bowl.

(Ya got permission, Wolfeh! : : : : D Okay! I hate it when I'm drawing a WOLF and some idiot thinks I'm drawing a monkey or something. Once, I was drawing a girl in 5th grade, [I was very bad at drawing people back then] and the baka next to me thought I was drawing naked girls. Ugh, I WASN'T DONE when he leaned over and saw my cruddy art. And sometimes my mum likes to be a jerk and say 'Nice goats you're drawing' when I'm drawing A PERSON. AND SHE KNOWS IT'S A PERSON. Sorry for yelling, it's just so aggravating.) Amei jumped at the thud and raced over to see Blue shouting on the floor.

Anna walked into the living room where the cats were. She sat down several china bowls filled with gourmet salmon. Feather, along with her kits, rushed over to eat. Amber leaped off of the desk she was on and shared a bowl with Anubis.

(My mom thought Kenta was my OC when I drew him once :P )

Amei heard the bowls clink onto the floor, and walked over to see what was inside. She didn't quite recognize the food, but knew it was some kind of fish. Amei put down her brush, then cautiously nibbled the salmon, then was soon taking regular bites.

(For comment errors, I just spam the 'post' button until it works. XXXXD For lag and server errors, I go and do a coloring page with a randomly selected color palette in the extras on the main screen. Always works.)

Anna gently brushed her wavy strawberry-blonde hair away from her face, smiling at the sight of the cats eating.

Kiro gingerly padded over, eating at a bowl next to Amei's.

Amei ate heartily until she was satisfied, then picked up her brush and walked into the living room. She decided to resume her search for the thin white leaves to paint on after things settled down. Maybe the human could help. Amei hoped she could find the leaves and paint on them.

Anna sat at her desk, and printed out a paper for her job.
