Parrotkit looked up at her mother and mewed, "Dragonbelly, may I please go outside?" Dragonbelly nodded and began grooming her tail. Parrotkit hurried outside before her mother could change her mind.

PandaStar's tail twitched as he caught a scent he recognized. *Dogs* he thought. *The Two-legs must be hunting in our territory again* He walked back towards camp at a brisk pace, paying close attention to the dog-scent as he walked. *We must organize a patrol immediately.*(Anybody wanna go on patrol?)

-Stripepaw walked out of the apprentice den- "I hope todays better than yesterday." -Stripepaw sees Echopaw and waves her tail in greeting- "Hi Echopaw!"

HiddenCinders padded into camp gently carrying a pheasant in her jaws. Her whiskers twitched as she dropped it onto the fresh-ki.ll pile.

Luckypaw awoke from her nap with a jolt. She had terrible nightmares that plauged her mind. Luckypaw stretched and then padded to the fresh-k!ll pile. Luckypaw greeted no one, she chose a rabbit like she always does. She ate the rabbit slowly enjoying the taste.

Parrotkit pushed her shoulder up, clipping Minkkit in the jaw. She squeezed out from under him and stood in the best warrior stance she could mannage. "Show me what you got lemur! I'm Parrotstar! Leader of Steamclan! Fight me if you dare!"

-Stripepaw frowns- "I needed the sleep i literrally got really hurt a couple days ago from lemurs." -Stripepaw walks past echopaw-

Luckypaw finished the rabbit and yawned. She could have swared that she had caught the scent of a dog but ignored it. Instead she walked over to the apprentices den and sat there quietly.

Parrotkit sputtered and shook her fur. "You fiend! You'll pay for that!" Parrotkit reared up and leapt onto Minkkit and the two tumbled.

PandaStar had second thoughts as he saw the sun begin to dip below the bamboo, *Perhaps a patrol at this time would be a bad idea. Even if the two legs don't usually hunt at night*

Swiftsilver sat on a sunbaked slab of rock, savoring the remaining warmth before they day seeped into nighttime. She had just finished a lizard, and purred in satisfaction. Swiftsilver swished her tail and began to groom herself.

(Can Tigerboom be Luckypaw's mentor instead? I'm always here and so is hallo. I just need a really active RPer...partner. XD)

Luckypaw sat in front of the den for a while but then felt a tingly sensation go down her spine. She walked aimlessley until she came upon a crooked bamboo stalk. Once she arrived there the sensation seemed to travel throughout her body as if in the blo,od stream.

Tigerboom sighed and surveyed the camp. He spotted Echopaw and padded towards her, calling, "Hey, Echopaw! Come here!"

Luckypaw turned to the tigerboom and narrowed her eyes. "im busy " she mumbled turning back to the crooked bamboo. *there has to be a spirit or something if not then why do i have this tingly feeling?*

Swiftsilver finished grooming, then slid off the no longer warm rock. She stretched, then trotted over to the nursury to chat with Grassflame. Not wanting to make Dragonbelly angry, Swiftsilver made sure to acknowledge her too. "Hello, Dragonbelly and Grassflame!" She said brightly.

-Stripepaw starts walking back and sees Echopaw- "What you doing in a tree?" -Stripepaw sat down looking at Echopaw-

Pumakit awoke from his nap and looked around. *Dusk already?* He yawned and stretched.

Tigerboom kept padding towards his apprentice and stood behind her, towering over her. "I can wait."

HiddenCinders purred as she bit into the juicy lizard from the fresh k.ill pile. Her tail brushed against the moist earth of the camp.

Luckypaw sat up straight and meowed to tigerboom bravely "what is so important that it overshadows my problem?" she continued "something is going to happen i have a feeling but please tell me why you have suddenly taken interest in me?"

-Stripepaw bit into one of the dogs legs and ran into the other direction of camp- "No!You do while i lead them away from camp!" -Stripepaw tried running faster but the dogs were gaining on her- "Oh StarClan help me!"

Bamboopaw groaned with boredom. She stood up and skimmed the surrounding area. Seeing Rarepaw she walked over to him. "Hey Rarepaw!" She wrinkled her nose at the strong scent of bitter herbs.
Rarepaw stopped eating from his mouse, "Hey."
"Have you seen my mentor? They didn't train me at all today, let alone yesterday," she mewed.
Rarepaw laid his ears back in annoyance.

Swiftsilver blinked at the rude queen's attitude. "Sorry." She stepped out of the den and sighed. /Why does Dragonbelly have a mate if she's so rude? Furthermore, why does she have kits if she doesn't like them?/ Swiftsilver walked away. She stopped when the faint smell of dog reached her nostrils. /Dogs?!?! They could find camp!/ Swiftsilver was worried, but didn't know what to do.

Luckypaws ears twritched as she heard a cry for help. "echopaw?" she meowed "echopaw!" Luckypaw ran towards his cries frantically searching. * i knew something was up!*

Dragonbelly grumbled and meowed, "Kits, come back inside."

HiddenCinders gagged on her lizard but quickly recomposed herself. *Dogs?!* she thought, her fur rising as she ran after the apprentice.

Tigerboom launched past Luckypaw and pounded towards the entrance. "Luckypaw! Follow me!" he roared back.

PandaStar pinned his ears against his head. He hissed and rose from his sitting position, *I knew I should have acted faster!*

Parrotkit bounded back inside and jumped onto her mother's side, still listening to the rising comotion.

-Stripepaw hops onto one dog wrapping her mouth around a dogs throat and bites as hard as she can- (Thinking >) / Someone come on! / -Stripepaw hops off the dogs head as it snaps at her and lands on a bamboo branch-

Bamboopaw's heart skipped a beat when Echopaw yowled his warning. *Dogs?!* She immediately began nudging her brother into the medicine cat den.
"Hey! Watch it!" He hissed.

HiddenCinders was hot on the heels of the dogs. There was no way she could ki.ll it, so the best she could do now was wound it.Her paws hit the ground silently as she gained ground on the large dogs.

Swiftsilver halted. "So there /are/ dogs!" She immediately dashed back in front of the nursury. If the dogs came to camp, she'd lay down her life to fight for the lives of the kits.

(Ok, nevermind. Hallo won't even pay attention to my comments. I'm keeping Bamboopaw.)

Tigerboom yowled, "Luckypaw! Keep moving!" and continued running and drew two of the dog's attention and they chased after him.

HiddenCinders snapped her jaws at the tendon on the barking dog's back leg. He yipped loudly and whipped arround, snapping at her tail. "EchoPaw! Hold on," she yowled letting go of the dog.

Bamboopaw stood infront of the medicine cat den. Swiftsilver was bravely preparing to guard the nursery while the other warriors and apprentices headed out to fight the dogs.
Rarepaw began pawing and sniffing his way to the herbs. *Where is the tansy?!*

Stripepaw scrambled up another branch as she smelled of fear scent. "Go away dogs!Go back to your twolegs" Stripepaw wrapped her paws around the bamboo stalks branch as she tried not to slide down.

Dragonbelly stood and pushed out of the nursery. "Don't let them die." she meowed and rolled her eyes. Dragonbelly stretched her legs and pelted towards the entrance, glad to run.

Pumakit looked around in confusion. *What's going on?* He wobbly got up and sat on Dragonbelly's soft bed.

Duskspots heard echopaws gasping. "I will be right back!" She called to her grandfather. She had no time to lose as she flung her body at the dog's . She swung her claws down its back and hit it hard enough for it to be surprised and confused for a few seconds. She and Echopaw needed to run as fast as possible to get away from it.

HiddenCinders bolted around the dogs. *Echopaw!* she thought frantically as she saw the dog pin him down. She ran over towards it and swiped at the dog's face *This is sui.cide. The dog quickly turned and snapped at her face as she took another swing with her heavy paws. The dog growled and snapped its foaming jaws at her as she bolted in the other direction, the dogs hot on her tail.

Duskspots noticed that echopaw had passed out. She at least had the dog on her tail now. She wove through the bamboo, and ran back to grab Echopaw by his scruff. *I wish i wasn't so small* She thought as she dragged the limp cat along the ground.

Dragonbelly pelted faster after she spotted the dogs. She thrummed her paws harder on the cold ground. She ran past a dog with a cat beneath it and raked her claws across it's hind-legs to catch its attention.

Duskspots saw that the dog was now following another cat. *Where do I put echopaw?* Duskspots thought. *I know! How about the nursery!* Duskspots began to drag Echopaw towards the nursery.

Hiddencinders climbed up the top of the bamboo as fast as she could and tried to quiet her breathing. She silently moved from stalk to stalk, hoping to lose the dogs.

Rarepaw grabbed all the herbs he needed for the upcoming injuries. *If only Luckystream were here!* He scowled to himself. He felt that the entire world were on his shoulders. *I'm just an apprentice! I should have been past the basics by now!*

Wintermist panted as he reached the top of the bamboo. He was tired, but safe- or so he thought. A dog saw him, and started bumping the bamboo, trying to knock Wintermist out. "HELP" the poor elder said.

Tigerboom felt the dog's breath hot on his heels. He kicked off, running as fast as he could towards a nearby hot spring.

Dragonbelly wove in and out of the bamboo in a confusing pattern. The dog ran head-on into a bamboo tree. It yelped and stopped.

Duskspots entered the nursery. "He needs some help" She said, setting him down. "Are you ok?" she asked him.

Luckypaw sat in the nursery next to the kits. She even tried to comfort parrotkit. "It's okay guys there just oversized rats, thats what those dogs are!" she said quietly. She watched as a beaten up cat was brought into the nursery.

Swiftsilver poked her head into the nursury. "It's going to be okay. Don't fret. You're not in danger." Swiftsilver couldn't help but say the last part in her mind. /For now..../

Moonkit wobbled over to the apprentice in the den and sniffed him. He was covered in an odd, murky odor. "What's that smell?"

Parrotkit hopped around excitedly. She wanted to see what was going on outside.

"HEEELLPP" Wintermist called out again. He probably wouldn't have a chance if no one helped him. He yanked his tail out of the dogs reach just in time as it jumped up to snag it in his teeth.

Hiddencinders could hear the dogs following her path from the ground. She panted heavily as she prayed to starclan the the dogs would eventually get lost in the huge forest of bamboo.

Pumakit neared to the entrance, curious on what was going on. That same cat from earlier was blocking the entrance along with Luckypaw. He didn't pay any heed to Echopaw. "What's going on outside?" He eagerly asked.

Luckypaw bolted to echopaws side realizing who the injured cat was. "Echopaw! Echopaw can you hear me are you okay?!" luckypaw cried out nuzzling him. *oh no i knew something was wrong when i got that tingly feeling!* Luckypaw layed next to echopaw , tears rolling down her muzzle. "What about your injury echopaw ? why were you even out there?!" she yowled.

PandaStar ran over to wintermist, determined to help the elder. He snapped at the dog's tail and sank his teeth into the flesh. The dog cried and spun around quickly, blood dripping from its tail.

"Very dangerous dogs are trying to get us." She said to the kit. "What happened to him would happen to you if you went out there, if you were really lucky." She looked at echopaw.

Tigerboom reached the tub, and sprung over the boiling water and onto the other side. *Good thing we use to jump over these as apprentices.* he thought, waiting for the dogs. He couldn't see throughthe thick mist, but he heard the two dogs yelp, two loud splashes, and more yelping. The dogs struggled in the water and one managed to reach the rocky shore. It scampered off with its tail between its legs, not even looking back for its companion. The other dog struggled vainly to stay above the water. Its head disapeared under the hot water. It never broke the surface after that. Tigerboom shook his head and caught his breath before pelting back to the others.

Stripepaw had tried to struggle free but failed. Stripepaw then got a idea. "Im gonna hate this idea but its the only one i got." Stripepaw turned her head around then she bit her tail hard and then only part of her tail was left from biting it off and she ran franticly into camp.

"Be careful!" He called down to the young leader. " Try to confuse it!" He said.

Luckypaw smiled as echopaw regained conciousness. "You know that you couldve been ki.lled? that was idiotic please dont ever do that again !" she said continuing to bawl.

"They'll be fine, now quit sobbing you're soaking my pelt!" Rarepaw hissed in annoyance. He managed to wriggle free from under Bamboopaw but that didn't change the fact that he was wet in tears. *Great StarClan, why me?*

Parrotkit nodded and frowned at her brother. She whispered to him, "What if Dragonbelly doesn't come back? I mean, what even /is/ a dog?"

Swiftsilver smiled reassuringly at the kits, then went back outside to defend. She hoped the others could hold off the dogs. So far, the clan was quiet. Swiftsilver kept her eyes on the entrance.

Luckypaw stopped sobbing and smiled at minkit. She nuzzled him and spoke gently "I hope he doesnt we will just have to wait and see..." Luckypaw turned back to echopaw and sighed. *I hope he makes it poor echopaw....spirits please help him i know you very well so please do this favor for me and i will forever be in your debt*

Tigerboom kept going and almost smashed into Dragonbelly. "What are you doing- nevermind. Just help me."

Dragonbelly sighed and reluctantly accepted. *I need to get out more. I'm loosing my strength!*

Wintermist carefully slid down the bamboo stalk. He sprinted towards the nursery, as he saw Duskspots in there. He wished he could help, but he was still too weak to. If this happened a few years earlier, he would have been commanding his clan to keep the apprentices away from the dogs. He also would have been putting up a pretty good fight. He could see that a lot of cats were struggling to keep their distance from the dogs.

"Come on, Dragonbelly is strong! Whatever these 'dogs' are I'm sure they aren't a match for her!" Pumakit assured.

Jaggedfrost sat there not knowing what was going on, he licked it paw and rubbed it on his head, "whats going on"? he questioned.

Hiddencinders jumped from the top of the bamboo stalks and hit the ground running. She felt the steam grow thick around her face. *The boars den should be around here,* she thought as she felt the mud and grass suddenly turn into sand. Hiddencinders stopped and kicked sand into the den as fast as she could. Angry snorting was heard from inside. With a quick jump, she bounded onto the room of the den. *That boar should keep them occupied* she thought as her legs carried her far from the den.

Pandastar ran from the dogs, staying as close to the ground as possible. He sprinted towards the churning river that boarded the camp. *I can loose them there,* he thought confidently.

(Yeah. It'd be similar to trying to bite off your own finger. Don't feel bad, I'm just proving a point. Heck! In my clan RP, a kit cut its own leg, which made no sense. At least yours would serve a purpose. XD)

Moonkit scooted over to Minkkit. He was the nicest out his siblings, and the least likely to rip off his tongue.

Parrotkit nodded and scooted closer to her brother and mumbled, "I don't care what happens to the other cats. They think we're monsters. I can tell by their stares..."

Dragonbelly and Tigerboom ran back to the dazed dog and lead it through the clustered bamboo forest.

PandaStar took a sharp turn at the edge of the steep and slick riverbank. He heard the dog yelp as he slipped down the bank into the swift rapids. (maybe we should end the rp right now?)

Swiftsilver kept her stance, preparing for a fight. She smelled the air to make sure no dogs were drawing near, and was relieved when the scent proved that no dogs were closer. Swiftsilver relaxed her position, but was still on guard.

Stripepaw lied down breathing heavily. Stripepaw licked the edge of her tail wincing with pain each time she licks. "wheres some cobwebs when you need them."

Luckypaw looked down at minkit who was softly pressed against her. She smiled and another tear rolled down her face. *Please starclan for the clans sakeI

HiddenCinders walked towards camp wearily, she panted heavily. The air gave no new dogscent but she remained on gaurd.

The dog became overwhelmed and ran off, away from camp, and the cats. Dragonbelly huffed, disapointed that she hadn't even gotten a new scar. Tigerboom yowled, hoping for a response, "Are all dogs gone?"

Luckypaw moved closer to parrotkit and pumakit. "I think the battle is over are two okay" luckypaw asked. *I feel like i neglected minkkits two siblings maybe there souls are not completely bad? maybe just as misunderstood as she was?*

Stripepaw got up and then walked near the entrance of the kits den. "Whys everyone in here?" Stripepaw peeked her head into the kit den curiously.

HiddenCinders heard what sounded like TigerBoom. She took note of the scents that drifted in the air, while she could still smell the dog stink it was not new. "I don't think so," she meowed loudly.

Parrotkit tilted her eyes up at the apprentice and meowed, "You're a coward."

Stripepaw sighed and sat down. "Hello? you hear me?" Stripepaw flicked what was left of her tail in annoyance.

Bamboopaw looked outside and noticed her denmates at the nursery. She filled with joy as she rushed over to the nursery. "You guys are okay!"

"say what you like parrotkit" she said quietly " i know exactly what your feeling even though you dont want to beleive that we are genuienly alike". She stared into the kits eyes. *why am i now realizing this! we are alike , so very much alike! we are both thought to be weird or evil in a way oh why coudnt i have seen this earlier?*

Dragonbelly was the first back, and she saw the cats gathered inside and around the nursery. She stormed over, fuming. "Get out of the way! Move!" she hissed and pushed past the cats.

Rarepaw brought his small batch of tansy and cobwebs over to the nursery. "Who needs herbs?" He asked.

PandaStar made it back to camp in a rush, wondering if any cats were ki.lled in the attack. His heart felt heavy. *I failed to lead my clan properly* he thought. He bee-lined towards Highrock.

Dragonbelly growled, "What is this?! This is the /nursery/ for kits to be safe! Not some-some medicine cat den! Get out! My kits should not be forced to see this carnage!"

(Seriously though. Why not just take him to the medicine cat den? It makes no sense."

"im sorry parrotkit" she looked at her paws " i will do whatever i can to make it up to you okay?" she saud quietly. "Dont you see? while your mother was fighting i was watching over you in your siblings do you know how much she would mourn if anything happened to you?" lucky paw continued " you may not know it but i would do anything to protect you guys b-because we are both misunderstood". Luckypaw sighed and turned away from the kit.

Rarepaw located the den and began heading towards it. He entered the den. *He's having trouble breathing.* He sniffed the storage for some chervil and placed it near Echopaw. "Take this, it'll sooth your breathing."

*Great StarClan.* He began pressing the cobwebs on his faint wound. *New-leaf better come soon!*

Stripepaw followed Echopaw into the apprentice den. "Are you ok Echopaw?" Stripepaw looked sadly at Echopaw. "By the way im sorry about walking away from you earlier."

Tigerboom sat on a medium ledge on high-rock and waited for the rest of his clan to arrive.

Stripepaw looked at Rarepaw. "Is he gonna live?" Stripepaw sat down. "Can i go get some cobwebs too?"

Swiftsilver made her way over to sit below the highrock. Things were settling down, albeit slowly. She was sure Pandastar was going to speak about the dog attack. Swiftsilver wanted to know what happened with the dogs, since she was protecting the nursury.

(XD I guess its just a coincedince. But since i have made a few dogeish comments I have seen other doge comments crop up in other places.)

Dragonbelly hissed at the blood left in the nursery. "Come here kits." she meowed and sat just outside the nursery.

Parrotkit happily followed her mother's order. She stumbled out of the nursery and to her mother's belly, where she sat.

Bamboopaw and Rarepaw gathered at the Clan meeting. *What's going on?*

Grassflame stuck her head out of the nursery, peering up at Pandastar.
Leopardclaw padded into the camp just as the leader called the meeting. He rushed to the fresh kill pile and dropped a lizard on the pile and joined his clanmates.

"Alright I will leave you be then goodbye minkkit,pumakit,moonkit" luckypaw paused for a second "and parrotkit remember what i said if your ever upset im here". With that luckypaw slowly sulked to the highrock where a meeting was taking place. She sighed and kept quiet.

Stripepaw licked Echopaw once in between his ears and then she walked outside. "Why do we keep getting attacked?" Stripepaw walked nearer to the great rock.

( @EWSpirit, I hope you know Grassflame is allowed to leave the nursery whenever she wants.)

Grassflame decided it would be better to join her clanmates. "Carrying around kits is tougher than it seemed. It will only get worse..." She thought to herself. She sat down beside her mate, Leopardclaw and looked to their leader.

PandaStar sat atop the highrock, his tail curled tightly around his paws.
"As you know," he started," the two-leg's dogs have just attacked the clan. Because not all of the dogs were kil.led during the attack kits are not aloud outside of the nursery. Apprentices are not to leave camp without their mentor or another senior warrior. Hunting is to be done in groups, be on gaurd at all time for the dogs. We were lucky to not have lost any cats at this time and to have only had few injuries.That is all."
PandaStar finished, leaping down the highrock (i gtg guys, sorry. But if u want u can continue rping)

Grassflame had stayed in the nursery the whole time of the attack. She still felt unsure about bring out here. She quickly ran back to the nursery, pushing through to her nest. She curled up , protecting her slightly oversized belly.

Leopardclaw saw his mate suddenly whisk into the nursery. He thought he smelled fear on her pelt. It was bound to happen while she was pregnant. He still couldn't get over the fact that he was going to be a father!

Swiftsilver nodded at Pandastar's announcement, then got up and headed to the warriors den. She needed sleep after feeling the stress about the dogs. Suddenly exhausted, Swiftsilver padded to her nest and fell into it. She was asleep within minutes.

Dragonbelly slipped back into the den, followed by all 4 of her kits. She laid down and curled herself around her suckling kits and fell asleep.

Tigerboom nodded and hopped down and sat by the camp entrance to sit vigil for his recovering clan.

Stripepaw sat down looking sadly at the ground. Stripepaw dug her claws into the ground. Stripepaw growled very quietly.

After luckypaw was done with her emotional stress she walked around camp. She poked her head into one den after another. When she came upon the nursery den she decided to appologize to dragonbelly. Luckypaw padded in silently. "D-dragon belly.." Luckypaw began.

(Minkkit just cowars away from her and doesn't talk to her. They're sleeping anyway. :/)

Stripepaw looked at her tail. thinking he dosnt hate me for my tail? Stripepaw turned around and sneezed.

Luckypaw realized that they were sleeping but continued to talk. "Im sorry dragonbelly im sorry to you all"with that luckypaw left. Luckypaw then went to the center of camp just sitting there doing nothing. Sadness plauged her mind.

Luckystream padded out of the senior warrior den, with a spring in his step. He sighed and looked up at the sky. It was beautiful.. He loved this clan, and he planned on staying here for the rest of his life. He smiled and trotted up to the Warrior den. He bent down and meowed into the entrance, He smiled as a tall golden & cream pelted, she-cat approached him and touched his nose with hers. He smiled and purred gently, touching his nose to hers.
