pearl (blue one) was created first & is a little less sophisticated than quartz (pink one), thats why pearl's face is metal & she doesnt have a mouth. quartz's face & hands are designed to mimic skin, and she can make some expressions, also her lips are really soft... i'll draw the scientist who made them later
