Thorn's Story Chapter 1 by Dragonologist

This will be the first chapter of Thorn's story. I know I said I would upload it saturday, but I got many things to do tomorrow. So here is the story:
Thorn’s story begins quite sad. His mother died shortly after his egg hatched, and his father was an evil dragon. His father tried his best to make his son evil, but Thorn wanted to be a good dragon. He tried to make friends, but most dragons were too scared of his evil father. He eventually managed to get 2 friends. Their names were Noah and Draco. Noah, a dark blue dragon who’s a bit smaller than Thorn, was his best friend. The 3 dragons would often play secretly, when Thorn’s father was sleeping. Playing with his friends was the only thing what made Thorn’s life happier. His father never played with him, and tried to make Thorn hurt other dragons. If Thorn refused, which he did every time, his father would scratch or bite him. But his friends comforted him if Thorn ran away from his father again, and they would play with him so he would forget his worries. They managed to keep this a secret for a while. But when Thorn became 10 years old, his father called him. “Thorn...come with me! I’ll learn you how to have fun, hehe” His father said, having an evil grin on his face. Thorn was suspicious. “What is he going to do now…will he hurt another dragon again?” Thorn thought, but he decided to come with him anyway, afraid he would be punished again. (tbc in comments)

After having walked with his father for a while, they could see a young dark blue dragon in the distance. It was a bit smaller than Thorn. "Oh no...not Noah...not now..."Thorn thought, afraid for what his dad was going to do. "Now...attack it!" Thorn's father yelled at Thorn. "What!? No I won't attack him! He is one of the few friends I have..."Thorn said on a sad tone, while staring at the ground. He knew what his dad would say. His father first looked suprised, then became very angry.

"WHAT!? HE IS YOUR FRIEND!? YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T HAVE FRIENDS! FRIENDS MAKE YOU WEAK!" His father roared loudly at Thorn. "Sorry dad...b-but I just feel so lonely..."Thorn said softly. "NO EXCUSES! I'LL PUNISH YOU FOR THIS!" His father roared enraged. Thorn flinched and closed his eyes, preparing to be scratched and gain another scar. But instead of feeling the usual pain caused by his father, he heard a terrible scream of pain and fear. "No...it can not be..." Thorn slowely opened his eyes.

Woah, this story is even better than I expected! It's so sad and scary. I like how Thorn was never actually evil when he was younger. And his father is really cruel, it makes me feel sorry for Thorn and his friend. :(
I can't wait for the next chapter! :)
