ohhh the memories.... stinks tho that nintendo couldnt have implimented saving on the original... you used to have to start all over when you turned it off or in power-outages

The Famicom Disk System version of Metroid had three save slots like in the Zelda games. Nintendo must have thought it wasn't worth putting CMOS batteries in North American Metroid carts.
