He thinks he can't live without the rest of the fingers...but they've already found another thumb...
He was mean to the hand and the other fingers. So she cut him off.
But he still won't give up. But it's too late for Mr. Thumb. He didn't deserve to be with that hand.
He should go find a different hand, rather then bugging the hand.
