-StripePaw woke up from a nightmare her heart beating rabidly then her eyes soften and she realizes its just a dream. StripePaw standed up stretching her legs then walked out of the Apprentice Den.- That was a horrible nightmare.

PandaScar paced the edge of the steam pool, something was wrong. He wasn't exactly sure what it was, perhaps it was the way the wind blew or the bamboo swayed, but he could tell something was going to happen.

ShiningStar looked over her clan from the leader's den. A soft purr tickled her throat as she saw the familiar faces of her comrads. *I hope to serve you well* she thought.

Tigerboom watched as his clan mates stirred. He licked his large white paw and swiped it over his ear.

Dragonbelly groaned and shoved her warm kits away from her belly. "I'm too hot you heathen kits." She rolled over and sighed heavily.

Parrotkit awoke as her mother yelled at them for doing something wrong. She mumbled and sat up, stretching her tiny nuby legs.

-StripePaw saw her mom and dad coming out of the Warriors den and purred.StripePaw headed toward her parents.StripePaw purred at her parents.-

-Frostbite (stripepaws deceised mother) licked Stripepaw inbetween her ears purring- "Hi Stripepaw how are you today?" - Rainstorm (stripepaws deceised dad) purred loudly-

ShinningStar's fur stood on end as a faint chattering reached ears. *It couldn't be* she thought as her claws dug into the soft earth beneath her. No, it was there. She could see it, a ringed tail through the dense mist. Her muscles moved instantly, "Lemurs!" She yowled. *Devils* she thought as beady eyes flashed towards her from the bamboo.

Rarepaw had been soting herbs in the medicine cat's den. Although he was blind, he had keen senses to help him through. He mumbled to himself as he looked for the burdock root.
Bamboopaw carried a small mouse to the fresh kiIl pile. The warm juices made her mouth water on her way to the pile. She neared the pile and dropped the mouse with pride.

Tigerboom's eyes caught a glimpse of the horrid creatures that ravvaged clans, and tormented the cats of his clan. He hissed and yowled alerting his comrads.

PandaScar turned his head towards Shiningstar as his stomach flipped. He had never seen a lemur raid, but had heard about them as a kit. Lemurs were smart and agile. He whipped his head towards the tall bamboo and readied himself.

Jaggedfrost padded out of the warriors den, flexing his claws. Then yawned slowly. "Whats going on" he asked.

Dragonbelly heard tension arrising outside the quarantine. "Don't even think about leaving." she hissed at her kits. She padded to the entrance and poked her head out to observe.

SteamClaw hissed at the announcement, how many kits and warriors had been lost in the bloody raid many seasons ago? Too many. His tail dipped into the steam pool as he struggled to stand, " SunSprout, those demons are upon us".
SunSprout hissed at him, " you old fool! Don't you dare try to fight them! The younger warriors can handle this, you will simply worry them and get yourself and others ki.lled!"

-Frostbite and Rainstorm growled loudly lashing their tails- "Not those creatures!" Rainstorm said. "We need to get ready to fight Rainstorm," Frostbite said.

-Stripe paw looked curiously at the bamboo- "What are lemurs?" Stripepaw said. -Stripepaw moved toawrds the entrance of camp curiously-

Tigerboom pelted towards a confident lemur prancing on the ground. His giant paws drumming on the dirt and grass. "You fiend!" he yowled and leapt onto the lemur.

Rarepaw flicked his ears at the yowl the leader gave. *Lemurs!?* He began sniffing for burdock root and many other herbs in preparation for wounds.

Paws at the lemurs tail, clawing at it and ripping some fur out. Jagged laughed really hard. Then snorted "You dumb monkey"

Tigerboom managed to rake his claws across the creature's flank before it swiftly evaded him.

Dragonbelly's ears pirked up at the thought of a fight. "You kits are lucky I'm feeling generous enough to protect you."

ShiningStar launched herself towards the lemur as he began to chatter loudly. "No!" she hissed as the rest of his troop flooded the camp." Guard the Medicine Den! That's what they want!" She yelled at the top of her lungs.

Swiftsilver reclined inside the warriors den. She yawned blearily and swished her tail. Deciding that she needed to be active, Swiftsilver got up and exited the den. She shook out her fur and looked around camp.

Parrotkit huffed and whispered to Pumakit, "We could take whatever's out there."

Bamboopaw franticly looked around as the lemurs began raiding the camp. "They're everywhere!" Two lemurs were closing in on the young apprentice. They're awful calls rang in her ears.

-StripePaw looked around at the creatures attacking and standed stiffly as one came straight towards her. The lemur pounced but then Frostbite ran infront of her and and it slashed at her ear. Then Rainstorm got attacked by two lemurs at once and stripepaw ran towards him but a lemur tackled her before she could reach him-

Pumakit puffed out his chest. "Yeah!" He broke off and looked at Moonkit and Minkkit. "They wouldn't last a second."

ShiningStar pounced onto the first monkey that faced her, sinking her claws and teeth into its neck as it screeched in pain. Another lemur grabbed at her leg and began ripping at it as she ki.lled its companion.

Luckypaw awoke with the yowls of her fellow clanmates. She raced out of the apprentices den to see what the comotion was about. She was shocked to see a pack of lemurs raiding the camp.

Jaggedfrost slaps the lemur's face and the lemur started to chase him. Jaggedfrost ran for a bit but he never backed down from a fight so he turned around and clawed the lemurs neck then bit it. He left the lemur dead and went on to help his clan get rid of more.

Bamboopaw looked at the lemur for a breif moment. She began to run toward the medicine cat's den. *Should I really run? Echopaw's fighting by himself!*

Tigerboom swiftly turned around to face the lemur, and caught it by suprise. He pinned it by the chest and v!ciously tore out its throat. *What luck!* he thought as he turned and pelted towards the medicine cat den, prepaired to give his last breath fighting for clan he loved.

Swiftsilver jerked awake at the sight of the lemurs swarming. She jumped it immediately and fought a lemur. She slashed at its hind leg, and it bit her tail. Swiftsilver howled in anger and pain. She swiped numerous times at the lemur, drawing blood each time. Swiftsilver bit the lemur right in the throat, and bit hard. She took many attacks from the lemur until it stopped moving. Swiftsilver ignored the sting of her wounds and lunged at another lemur.

PandaScar's heart raced as he proceeded to scratch at another monster. The agile monkey cackled as he danced out of reach, he was not alone either. A ring soon formed around him and began to take turns swiping at his tail and face. "Stupid Lemurs" he yowled as he launched himself at them. They bared their fangs and hissed as the heavy tom raked at the belly of the other monkey. He held onto the shoulders of his target, there was no way he would let him get away!

Jaggedfrost ran towards the nursery, while he was running jaggedfrost got pinned down by a huge lemur. He couldnt get out of its lock, Jaggedfrost wiggled around but it just made it worst. "ANYONE, HELP ME" he yelled as the huge lemur was squishing his lungs.

-StripePaw struggled then bit the lemurs neck gripping it. Then throwing it then ran towards her father. Stripepaw threw the two lemurs off and stared in fear at her fath.er as bloo.d poured out of Rainstorms stomache and stripepaw gripped his flank and dragged him near the Medicine cat den- "Luckystream Rainstorm needs help!"

Dragonbelly swished her tail and poked her head back into the den. Her eyes glowed like fire in the dim light as she growled, "Stay here if you don't want to join Starclan." She bolted out of the den like the horrible parent she was, and smashed into a nearby lemur.

(Bamboopaw would! -Tak)

Dragonbelly almost squashed the apprentice under the lemur she attacked. "Die! Die!" She tumbled over and over, trying to get the advantage.

Rarepaw peeked put of the den and yowled. "Luckystream isn't here!" He stepped put of the den. "Deerstride, come." He rushed to Rainstorm and examined him for injuries.

SteamClaw hissed at the lemur that stood just beyond the entrance of the Elder's den. The creature was coc.ky, he could feel it. Anger rose in his throat, he may be old and worn now but he was once a great warrior! "Beast," he hissed taking a step towards the lemur, "Today you will see why they call me SteamClaw!"

Swiftsilver dashed to help Jaggedfrost, leaving the lemur she was fighting to bleed slowly to death. She tackled the lemur, knocking it off the fellow warrior. "Gotcha!" Swiftsilver cried as she scratched the beast.

(sorry. not apprentice. That was Jaggedfrost. XD)

"Y-yeah..." She looked, more lemurs were coming. She gathered all of her courage. Her neck fur bristled as they homed in.

StripePaw stared at her father scaredly. "Rainstorm live please." Stripepaw starts crying.

No one came to save him so he bit the lemurs hand. It was bleeding, the lemur attacted him back by biteing Jaggedfrosts front paw. He managed to escape and continue running/limping. He finally got to a safe spot, as he though but then he got tackled by a bunch of lemurs.

Tigerboom veered to the side as he noticed a lemur in the elder's den entrance. "No." he whispered and ran faster.

Parrotkit huffed and wished she could be bigger. "This is stupid." (Sonic, where's yo kits? D:)

Rarepaw pressed cobwebs against Rainstorm's wound. He looked around for any marigold but the lemurs were surrounding the medicine cat den. *Mouse dung!*

Dragonbelly roared as she landed on top of the lemur. She raked her back claws along the lemur's belly, sending it screaching up a bamboo tree. She yowled in triumph, only to be attacked by another lemur.

Moonkit pushed himself further back into the nursery den. Sounds of wailing rang in his ears. He couldn't take it.
Pumakit glanced outside as Dragonbelly fought fiercely. "I'll be better than Dragonbelly and Jaguarsight together!" He boasted.

(Yeah, but I hope he's just watching from the entrance. He's overly obedient. XD)

-Stripepaw got infront of Rarepaw and her father, Rainstorm- "I'll hold them off. -Stripepaw bit into a lemurs throat then throwing it far then doing the same to each lemur that came close-

Parrotkit smirked. "We'll be stronger than a dragon if by the time we're warriors my dear brother." (That's her thing. XD) She flicked her little tail over his nose.

Jaggedfrost lied infront of a dried up bamboo shot, covered in blood and bites. He tried to get up but he was too weak. Jaggedfrost didnt like being weak, he pushed himself to get up but fell right back down. "I wish I had the strenghth to help the clan fight" he murmered to himself.

Bamboopaw leapt on the lemur Echopaw had been attacking. She unsheathed her claws and dug them into the lemur. It threw her off onto the hard ground.

Swiftsilver dashed around, fighing off lemurs that were trying to get into dens to k'ill other cats. She found one lemur heading towards the nursury, and yowled a battle cry as she charged at it. Swiftsilver raked her claws in its side, and it screeched loudly. The lemur whipped around and scratched Swiftsilver's shoulder. It then jumped right on her, biting and scratching. Swiftsilver dragged her hind claws up its belly and kicked it off. She was bleeding heavily, but didn't care. Swiftsilver rammed her body into the lemur's side and knocked it to the ground. The creature wriggled out from under Swiftsilver and dashed out of camp howling.

Tigerboom launched himself on top of the lemur and latched his jaws around it's neck. It clawed at him, but he was too determined to let go.

Dragonbelly felt the lemur's teeth clamp down on her foreleg. She yowled and twisted around, facing the creature.

*A dragon...* "No, not even StarClan will be able to beat us!* A devious grin appeared on the kits face as he saw blood splatter everywhere.

(please make sure you don't make the apprentices too strong/OP.)

Jaggedfrost leaned towards Echopaw, "thanks a lot" he smiled and did that old gleam with his icey blue eyes to him. "I promise I'll stay a live" he smiled again.

ShinningStar yowled as the lemur ripped her off the other monkey. Bloo.d coated her muzzle and the lemur was de.ad on the floor. She quickly bit at the neck of another lemur and bl.ood squirted into her mouth. With a screech, the creature grabbed her torso and ripped her off. There was an audible cracking sound, and everything went dark.

-Stripepaw looked and saw her mother, Frostbite on the ground- "No, why did it have to be her!" -Stripepaw broke into tears on the ground- "Why did they have to get her!"

Parrotkit scoffed, "Ha! Starclan doesn't even exist! Jaguarsight even says so!" She smiled at the thought...or the bloody cats.

Jaggedfrost jumped up with is last strenghth advalable to attack the lemur that was attacking Echopaw, He ki.lled it in one shot by hitting the right spot in the neck.

PandaScar grabbed at another lemur as he stood atop the body of his fallen foe. With whatever strength he could muster his fangs bit down onto the shoulder blade of the creature until his jaws ached. PandaScar racked at the stomach of the lemur while his forepaws held onto the torso.

Rarepaw looked around and caught sight of a batch of chervil. He reached for the herb and began chewing it, extracting the pulp. He placed it on the warrior's wound and pressed it hard.

Tigerboom thrust the lemur aside as hard as he could, snapping it's neck as it hit a bamboo tree. "Are you alright?" he called to the elders, hoping desperately for a response.

Grassleaf emerged into the clearing with Leopardclaw from their walk through out the day. She hears shrieking and fighting and began to sprint into the clearing, where she saw the chaos that had gripped the camp. "No!" She heard Leopardclaw shriek behind her.

"Yeah, you're probably right. Who am I kidding, Jaguarsight it always right!" He mewed.

Grassleaf dashed through the chaos to where she saw Echopaw tackling a lemur. She pounced on it and ripped it off the apprentice. She hissed furiously and killed it by smashing its skull.

-StripePaw stood up growling then jumped onto a lemur ripping it to shreads with her teeth- "You will pay for what you did to my parents!" -A lemur tackled StripePaw biting her skull. Then StripePaw passed out-

Dragonbelly smashed her head into the lemur's, stunning it. She relentlessly swiped her claws across it's ugly face. She cackled and knocked the dazed lemur over, finishing it with a suffocating bite. She didn't let go until it stopped breathing. "Devil." she spat and trotted nonchallantly back to her kits.

Jaggedfrost jumped over top of Echopaw to protect him from getting anymore hurt from those monsters "I got your back buddy" he smiled crookedly

Bamboopaw struggled to get up, vision blurred. She looked with horror to see Echopaw laying helplessly on the ground. "Echopaw!" She dashed over to the injured apprentice.
"Bamboopaw?" Rarepaw pri'cked his ears as he heard his sister's yowl. Carrying the chervil he blindly searched for his two Clanmates.

"Why hadn't I come sooner... I could have helped more," she whispered. A huge lemur jumped square on her shoulders. She shrieked a almost incomprehensible call for help as she was dragged to the ground.

A sinister grin crept across Dragonbelly's muzzle. She reached the den and meowed, "Who wants a taste of battle blood?"

Tigerboom just hoped the elders were unharmed as he pelted after the few remaining lemurs. "Chase 'em out!" he yowled to the others.

ShiningStar knew what happened. The wretched creatures had made her loose a life. Before her, in a sea of stars, stood the cats of moons before. Her neck ached dully, as she stared at the cats of StarClan.
"ShiningStar, " one approached her. She recognized him instantly, SilentCreek, the previous deputy before Pandascar. " You have lost a life,You now have 4 remaining." he rumbled with a deep melancholy tone. " Use them wisely to save your clan." His eyes brimmed with sadness. The idea suddenly struck her... " Am I going to die in this battle?" she meowed, she wasn't afraid to join starclan. However she worried about the clan. Should she have named such a young warrior as deputy? PandaScar was eager, but inexperienced. She figured he would have time to learn while she was with them. SilentCreek nodded, " You must return quickly to your clan and find the leader." With that, ShiningStar found herself on the floor of Steam Clan Camp surrounded by the cauterwails of battle.

Pumakit licked his lips as the smell of lemur blood. "What does battle blood taste like?" He asked.

"I am very weak to" said Jaggedfrost, "but if we stick together, we'll get through this together" mewed Jaggedfrost to Echopaw

Leopardclaw broke away from a lemur he was fighting when he heard his mate Grassleaf scream in agony. He sprinted over to where the sound came from, Desprately hoping she was alright. Time seemed to slow down as he saw the lemur, almost as big as her clawing her relentlessly.

Swiftsilver spotted another lemur dashing toward the medicine den. "Oh no you don't!" She shouted as she barrelled after it. Swiftsilver caught up to the lemur and bit into its tail. She dug her claws into the soil, and slowed down the lemur. It screeched and tried to run faster, but Swiftsilver slowly started dragging it back. The lemur wheeled around and clawed Swiftsilver's already wounded shoulder, and she bit harder on the tail in retaliation. Swiftsilver dodged a blow from the lemur while still gripping the tail, and delivered a slash onto its eye. The beast howled and yanked its tail out of Swiftsilver's jaws. She scratched its eyes repeatedly until it cowered on the ground, hardly able to see. The lemur feigned weakness, then caught Swiftsilver as it swiped wildly at her forelegs. She stepped back and bit one of its paws. The lemur jumped up and slashed again. Swiftsilver lunged and dug her claws into its face. There was so much blood in the lemurs eyes and on its head. Swiftsilver then bit the beast's throat, k'illing it.

-Stripepaw woke up under the weight of a lemur.She yowled with pain as the lemur raked its claw across her muzzle.Stripepaw clenched her teeth around the lemur's leg-

Tigerboom roared his signature roar/yowl andstartled a few lemurs. *"Like a true tiger." his father use to say.*

Grassleaf began to feel weak from fighting the huge beast. Just as she felt she would collapse from fatigue, she saw her mates furious gaze rake the lemurs pelt and at once the beast was removed. She scrambled to her paws but as she tried to help Leopardclaw, her front right paw gave away under her and she tripped, hissing into the bloody camp floor. "My shoulder is wrenched out of its socket," she thought.

Dragonbelly chuckled and meowed as she sat down in the den, "It's the very esscense of death." She stretched out a bloody paw and let her kits observe.

Parrotkit giddly padded to her mother and sniffed the blood on her mother's limb. "It's beautiful..." she meowed in awe.

-Stripepaw looked at a lemur and clawed at its muzzle useing the rest of her power. Then she looked at the sky and started tearing up- "I think im going to join Starclan before i even become a warrior." -Stripepaw passed out again as blood came out of her head-

"luckystream! Rarepaw? I can't walk! Help! I think my shoulder has been wrenched out of its socket!" She yowled.

Quickly, Jaggedfrost sped limped to the med den. He knew he would die if he was going to fight any longer. Once he got there, Jaggedfrost plopped down like as if he got shot and then the pain started.

SteamClaw kicked dust and gravel towards the lemurs face, blinding him temporarily. The lemur screeched and hurriedly rubbed its beady eyes. He crept silently around to its back, he was easily as big as the creature. With a pop of his joints, Steamclaw clung onto the back of the demon with difficulty. He scratched and bit at the lemurs back as it writhed on the ground trying to pull him off. SteamClaw felt his paws and joints ache as he hit the floor. The lemur staggered towards him, cluching its wounds. He panted heavily, there was no way he would be able to move now. He couldn't tell what happened next, a white streak jumped over him and a battle ensued. *Maybe starclan decided to help an old warrior like me* he thought as he seeped into unconsciousness.

Tigerboom looked around camp and chased after the remaining lemurs, sending them cackling and screaching and into the trees. "Is everyone alright?" he meowed.

Leopardclaw struggled with the giant lemur for a while until it finally fled the camp. He turned around to see Grassleaf moaning in pain. Her shoulder was twisted at an odd angle. He raced to her side, and helped her up. He let her lean on his shoulder as he guided her to the medicine cats den.

"I am hurt badly in my paw, and I think I chipped my tooth, other than that I'm fine." Answered Jaggedfrost.

As Leopardclaw laid his mate in the den, he dashed to Echopaw. "I'll get you to the medicine den. I won't let you die."

Swiftsilver's wounds stung painfully. She winced every time she took a step, but she was relieved the fight was ending. Swiftsilver staggered to the medicine den, her shoulder bleeding heavily. She poked her head inside. "Luckystream, get some cobwebs ready...." Swiftsilver smiled weakly, then stepped back out to observe the camp.

Tigerboom nodded to the responding mew. He noticed the limp body of Echopaw by the entrance. He rushed over and gripped the young cat's scruff and gently carried him over to the medicine apprentice.

-Stripepaw woke up as she tried to lift her head as blood poured out of her head- "Someone please help." -Stripepaw's breath was getting slower and slower by the minute-

Rarepaw looked around him blindly. "I AM DOING THE BEST I CAN!" He spat. Echopaw was the nearest. He picked up his chervil and cobwebs and headed toward Echopaw.

PandaScar watched the suic.ide leap. He saw Shiningstar launch herself into the whirling ball of lemurs. She was a strong warrior, but this seemed impossible! He ran over to his leader in time to hear the sounds of breaking bones and tearing flesh. His heart dropped. "ShiningStar!" he yowled, kil.ling the lemurs that stood in his way. There were too many, he couldn't even see her pelt. Only blood and the glint of teeth were visible. The monkeys screeched and howled as ShiningStar battled something. He wasn't sure what it was. The sounds of the horrible creatures stopped. A lemur, much larger than the others, staggered out of the group. It glared at him, and with a final breath collapsed onto the ground. The troop leader was de.ad. ShiningStar had kil.led it. PandaScar launched himself at the remaining lemurs as they retreated into the dense bamboo.

Dragonbelly huffed and drew her paw back. "Now you must wait until you're an apprentice to fight. I can't have the future clan leaders die now can I?" She laid down and began cleaning herself.

He dropped his herbs and nodded at the warrior. "Thanks Tigerboom." He pawed for the apprentice.

Grassleaf was laying on the floor when she heard Stripedpaw mew pitifully. "I need to help..." She thought. She got up and limped on three legs towards the apprentice and grabbed her scruff.

Pumakit savored the taste. *It's sour...* He swept the thought clean. He couldn't have the others think he was weak, could he?

Grassleaf struggled to limp back to the medicine den with Stripepaw. It was extremely difficult, and she tripped over the body of a lemur and collapsed in a screech of pain. "Ow!"

Tigerboom nodded to the other cat retrieving the apprentice. "Are you sure you can handle it?" he meowed, ignoring the pain in his hip.

PandaScar panted heavily as the last of the lemurs swung out of sight. The whole camp smelled like blood, he hated it. He looked over the dead bodies of the lemurs. They easily outnumbered the clan cats. His breath caught in his throat as he caught a glimps of gray cat fur. PandaScar sprinted over to the body, his heart pounding like a drum. *No,no,no, it can't be* he thought as he moved the body of a lemur. He stood stunned as his paws rested in the pool of fresh b.lood. ShiningStar lay mangled and torn on the floor. She was almost unrecognizable, her limbs broken and cuts lacing her flank, staining her pelt red. "ShiningStar?" he meowed quietly.

Grassleaf grunted in reply to tigerboom, "Actually, I think I would like some help."

Bamboopaw entered the den. *Where's Rarepaw?* She sighed with relief when she saw Echopaw in the nest.
Rarepaw muttered to himself and headed toward the den. The scents of herbs comforted him. "Echopaw? You there?"

Tigerboom rushed to the elder's den to see if the retired warriors were alright. He breathed heavily and his paws begged him to stop. "Steamclaw! Wintermist! Are you alright?" he called.

PandaScar's wounds stopped aching as he pressed his head into the blo.odied fur. He stayed only for a second before he picked her up and carried her to the center of the camp.

-Stripepaw looked at the stars and mumbled- "Its such a beatiful day to di.e." -Stripepaw closes her eyes-

Grassleaf laid Stripepaw in the den. She winced at the pain in her leg. Luckystream? Rarepaw? I think my shoulder is wrenched... I can't help the clan"
Leopardclaw ran towards Pandascar. "No.." He whispered. Shining star lay Mahler on the ground. His heart wrenched with grief.

Dragonbelly stood and called to her kits, "Parrotkit, Pumakit, Moonkit, Minkkit, come on. We're going to see the camp and the medicine cat den." She padded out of the den and waited graciously for her kits.

*mangled. ((Using iPod to comment, autocorrect got me this time o.o))

Swiftsilver's shoulder was bleeding heavily, but she decided to wait until others were treated first. There were plenty of clanmates with injuries far worse than hers. She decided to try and drag the lemur corpses out of camp. They were everywhere and Swiftsilver was pretty sure that they wouldn't be very good to eat. Swiftsilver dragged three bodies out without stopping, then took a break to breathe. She resumed work shortly and dragged two more lemur corpses out of camp.

Bamboopaw gave one last look at the injured apprentice then looked at Rarepaw. "Well don't just stand there! Do something! Can't you see he's hurt?!" She hissed.
Rarepaw's patience thinned withen the minute. He hissed, "First of all, I can't see a thing! Second, I'm doing the best I can!" His temper lessed as he turned to face Echopaw. "What are your injuries?"

SteamClaw heard shouting, his entire body ached like he had been hit by a tree. He raised his head slighty, ignoring he pain that laced his body. " I'm fine," he croaked. Compared to the others he had only been scruffed up a bit.

Leopardclaw sunk to the ground in grief for his leader. At least Grassleaf and the clan' skits were alright.

Parrotkit marched out of the den, excited to see the carnage. She emerged from the den and spotted a body that stood out to her. "Dragonbelly, is that our leader?" she whispered.

((Autocorrect again. **Clan's kits. Wow...))

"Finally!" Pumakit bounded up to Dragonbelly. His amber ayes gleamed with pride and awe as he saw the camp.
Moonkit lagged behind. His eyes couldn't take this awful sight. *How can Dragonbelly want us to see this?*
Rarepaw rolled his eyes and turned behind him. His sightless eyes looked at the warrior. "Just a minute."

Pumakit was too awestruck to have noticed the body. *Who's that?* He flicked his little tail and eyed the limp body.

Dragonbelly looked to the center of camp and casually meowed, "Oh. I guess it is." She padded over to the mess of a body and snorted before she was in earshot.

Leopardclaw saw the four kits cross the clearing. "They shouldn't see this!" He thought. If he ever had kits, he would never let them see anything like this, no matter what.

-Stripepaw smiled crookidly as she started crying- "Im ready mom and dad, im ready to join you in starclan." -Stripepaw coughed hard-

He saw moonkit and reconised a disturbed and disgusted look on the kits face. "They shouldn't see this..." He said accidentally.

(Dragonbelly's scr3wing up these kits. XD)

Grassleaf slumped to the floor with a moan of pain. "Starclan help me..." She whispered.

((Lolz... ))

Rarepaw gave Bamboopaw the chervil and headed toward the entrance. "Press those against Echopaw's wounds. But use the cobwebs first." Bamboopaw nodded and did as she was told. He headed toward the noise. *It's Stripepaw!* He neared the sound, hoping some warrior would carry her to the den.

Pandascar looked at the faces of the cat's who just seemed to notice their fallen leader. His body remained stiff but somewhat composed. He knew that panicing would only bring further trouble to the already chaotic clan. After a second, he knew what to do. He climbed to the top of the High Stone that overlooked the steam pools.
"All cats who are old enough to catch their own prey, gather together for a meeting." he meowed.

Dragonbelly's head snapped in the direction of the meow. "And why is that? Do you want to raise my kits to have no respect for the dead?" she half-lied. "I'd suggest you bite your tongue."

Moonkit returned Minkkit's gaze, fear in his eyes. He looked at the leader lying on the ground. "T-t-that's S-s-shiningstar?"
Pumakit snorted. "What a weak leader. We would have beaten those lemurs easily!" He mewed to Parrotkit.

Tigerboom turned at the voice of a non-leader cat calling a meeting. "What is this?" he mumbled.

Dragonbelly scooted all of her kits against her belly and curled her tail around them and her paws. She sat with no emotion on her face.

Leopardclaw cursed under his breath. "Sorry, Dragonbelly..." He didn't ever want to get on her bad side again.

Bamboopaw looked out of the den. "Got to go, Rarepaw will come back soon!" She mewed nervously.
Rarepaw found the body of Stripepaw and grabbed a hold of her scruff. He barely dragged it to the medicine cat den. He used all of his strength to drag the apprentice to an empty nest.

Swiftsilver heard the commotion at the center of camp and dropped the corpse she was pulling. She walked over, worried at what she may see. Swiftsilver's eyes filled with tears at the horrid sight before her. Shiningstar's broken body lay right in the center of camp. She looked so mangled and bloody. Swiftsilver's paws buckled and she fell to the ground. She felt the tears slide down her face. "Shiningstar.....No......" Swiftsilver always looked up to the now-dead leader, and seeing her gone was terrible.

Parrotkit giggled as she sat next to her brother. She didn't like being sheltered from the scene, but she sat under her mother. "She deserved this for being so weak." she whispered

Grassleaf scooted out of the medicine den to hear the meeting from shining- no. "Pandascar?!" She breathed.

PandaScar looked at TigerBoom, then to DragonBelly. With a sigh he began to speak," ShiningStar has lost her final lives during this battle."

Swiftsilver looked up to see Pandascar calling a meeting. She shakily got up to her paws and stumbled over to join the other clan cats.

Pumakit giggled at his sister's comment. "She deserved it. Jaguarsight was right; If StarClan really existed they would have help that weak cat."

Grassleaf felt tears slide down her face. This was not the time to tell the clan what she had wanted... But maybe good news would be good for the clan.

Tigerboom rushed to the gathering cats. He stopped as he realized that the mangled body of Shiningstar was the center of attention. He suddenly realized that this meant they were getting a new leader. "Pandastar..." he muttered. *He's so young...I told her he wasn't old enough...she thought she could teach him...how wrong she was." he gagged as he tried holding back tears of frustration.

Leopardclaw stared at Pandascar. "He's to young to be the leader!" He thought with dread.

-Stripepaw blinked slowly- "Shiningstars dead!?" -Stripepaw tried to get up but fell back down- "It was worse enough when i found out my parents di.ed but this is just a nightmare!"

Parrotkit could hardly contain herself from bursting into a fit of laughter. "I hope *giggle* 'Starclan' takes good care of her!"

Grassleaf thought to herself, "I'll tel the clan the news tomorrow." She bowed her head for Shiningstar.

Rarepaw grabbed cobwebs and placed them on Stripepaw's wounds. He looked for Luckystream's batch of poppy seeds and placed them on his paw. "Here, take these. I need to treat Grassflame."

Swiftsilver overheard the kits' conversation. /How could they be laughing and cruel at a time like this?! I know Dragonbelly isn't the nicest cat, but is she really going to let them act this way?! The nerve!/ Swiftsilver glared at her paws.

Tigerboom collected himself and calmly stood beside Pandascar. "There must be a new deputy appointed...Pandastar..."

"Oh thank you Rarepaw." She whispered. "My shoulder is wrenched, I think the lemur pulled it out of its socket," she winced at the pain.

Pumakit giggled with his sister. This was hilarious! The thought of their Clanmates believing in something that wasn't real. "Yeah! Bye bye Shiningstar! Make sure to tell 'StarClan' hi for us!" He continued laughing then whispered, "Or should we say Weaklingstar."
Moonkit dropped his ears at the conversation! *That's not true! Rarepaw tells me that StarClan is real and what they do when Dargonbelly isn't around...*

(why do ppl think stripepaw is a boy shes a girl o3o'') -Stripepaw licked up the seeds then looked over at echopaw- "hi echopaw." -Stripepaw closed her eyes still listening to the clan meeting-

Dragonbelly noticed her kits were speaking too loudly and she swiped her paw at them and meowed, "This is not the time." pretending to care.

"Okay, this may hurt." He placed his paws on the misplace shoulder. Concentrating, he pushed hard and snapped the bone in place.

Leopardclaw closed his eyes. He opened them when he heard Pumakit and Parrotkit giggling like hyenas. "What in the name of starclan?" He muttered silently, hoping their mother hadn't heard him.

Swiftsilver felt a bit better when she heard Moonkit's mew of protest against his siblings', defending Starclan. /Good, not all of them are twisted like that. I can tell Moonkit's going to be a great cat./ She looked back up.

PandaScar looked to TigerBoom, the senior warrior easily dwarfed him. With a nod, he understood what to do. " A deputy will be selected before moonhigh." PandaScar leapt off of High Rock and padded towards TigerBoom , motioning him to follow.

(Sorry i was gone for a bit, my mom was telling me stuff)

Grassleaf prepared herself. "It will be better when Rarepaw fixes it..." She thought. Suddenly her shoulder snapped in place with a searing pain. She shrieked in agony so most of the cats in the camp stared towards the medicine den. She felt herself get hot with embarrassment. Her shoulder felt much better. "Thank you!" She gasped.

Parrotkit continued to giggle, only quieter. She burried her face into her mother's tail to try and make less noise.

Tigerboom sighed and closed his eyes. He thought of how this would effect the clan. *Great Starclan...please help us!* he pleaded.

"Here, take these poppy seeds. They'll ease the pain, especially the after burn." He mewed.

-StripePaw looked up then lays her head back down- "I'm gonna go to sleep." -StripePaw falls asleep peacefully-

Leopardclaw turned his head as he smelled the sweet scent of Grassflame. He turned and licked her cheek. "I'm glad you're ok" he whispered.

**Grassflame. Wow, one of my last comments had "Grassleaf in it ... Dafuq XD))

Tigerboom nodded and followed the smaller cat. He felt awkward at the thought of such a young and small cat being his leader. He was optimistic though, hoping everything would be ok.

Dragonbelly huffed and twitched her whiskers in annoyance. "You kits are louder than thunder." she mumbled.

((Wtf. All my last visible comments have Grassleaf instead of Grassflame. Autocorrect?))

PandaScar suddenly felt like the weight of the world had been dropped onto his sholders. He figured he would have had time to train and gain experience before anything of this caliber would have happened. He turned to face Tigerboom. Such an experienced(sp?) warrior would be sure to ease the clan's doubts, right?
" Tigerboom, I would like for you to become Deputy."

Grassflame whispered into her mates ear, "I'm not sure... But I think I'm expecting kits..." ((Is that ok if she is? O.o))

Swiftsilver got up and padded over to Shiningstar's body. She sat down and said her goodbyes, along with plenty of tears. "I hope you chose well in making Pandascar leader, now that you're gone..." Swiftsilver meant it. If the clan was to survive, they needed a good leader to depend upon. Swiftsilver forced herself to stand up and walk to the medicine den. Her shoulder wound's bleeding had slowed down, but it still needed to be fixed properly. There was the risk of infection too, so it definitely needed to be wrapped.

(yeah, its ok but she will have to have some problems w/ the preg and kitting since she is such a young cat)

Parrotkit sighed and leaned against Pumakit. "This is the best thing that's happened for the clan." she whispered. She then spoke louder, addressing her mother, she tried to sound innocent as she asked, "Who's going to be the leader now, Dragonbelly?"

((I made her older in my ref, she's 30 moons :3))

Bamboopaw looked up in awe. "Is Tigerboom becoming deputy?!" She was excited, her kin becoming deputy. *Yes!*

Leopardclaw jumped up in the middle of the group of cats. "What?!" He yelled in joy. Grassflame shrank back. He realized he was standing and shouting in the middle of a clan meeting. "Oh mouse dung, now I'll have to explain..."

((Sure!))

Tigerboom dipped his head to his new leader. "Yes Pandastar. I shall help guide you along side Starclan, and offer you my words of experience and wisedom if you so choose. I am honored to serve as your and Steamclan's deputy."

((I'll decide how many soon. Maximum 3 I think))

Grassflame felt like she should be sinking into the ground. After tigerboom accepted, Leopardclaw shouted and sprang up in the middle of the cluster of cats.

-StripePaw woke up and tries sitting up but flinches from the pain- "Ow!" -Stripepaw limps out of the medicine den - -StripePaw smiled at the sky- "I cant believe i survived.

Dragonbelly scoffed and meowed, "Pandascar my lovelies." she rolled her eyes and she licked her kits between their ears and mumbled to them, "Hopefully not for long."

Grassleaf was relieved that Tigerboom was deputy. He would help Pandascar become a better leader with time. She hoped the clan would recover from the attack soon enough.

She also was amused by Echopaw staring at Bamboopaw all the time. "He likes her, no doubt." She thought.

Swiftsilver stopped in her tracks when Pandascar declared Tigerboom as deputy. She smiled. Tigerboom was a big and competent warrior, when Pandascar goes, Steamclan would have a good leader to take care of it. She did hope that his ambitions wouldn't get the better of him. Swiftsilver decided to wait until the clan meeting was over to get her wound checked. She trotted back to the group and sat back down.

Parrotkit was stunned. "Does she mean the cat who's hardly older than an apprentice? I heard the elders rambling about him!" she whispered to Pumakit.

-StripePaw looked down at her paws- "I wish my parents made it." -StripePaw starts crying silently in the corner of camp-

Leopardclaw was bubbling over with joy. "I will be a father!" The thought. What a thrill! He'll have perfect kits to go along with his gorgeous mate. He suddenly felt guilty. "Why am I happy after this tragedy?" He felt his heart sink and rise over and over. What to think? Nobody knew.

PandaScar nodded solemnly, feeling a bit better. TigerBoom was a cat worthy of the position.
" A new deputy will be appointed, but let us give thanks for the lives lost in this battle,"
There was a moment of silence before he continued.
"I shall now name the new deputy of SteamClan, may StarClan here my words and approve my choice. TigerBoom will be our new Deputy. We shall keep vigil with ShiningStar and the others tonight before we bury them at dawn" Pandascar lept off of HighRock and padded over to the body of ShiningStar. (maybe thats it for tonight guys)

(Pfffft Tigerboom? Ambitions? He only wants to make his clan laugh and be happy. xD)

SteamClaw nodded and took the herbs and cobwebs. He walked to the center of camp where the bodies of the de.ad cats had been gathered. He proceeded to apply the herbs as he had done many times before. *It never gets any easier seeing such young cats die* he sighed.

(You'll have to wait and see. If Stripy isn't taken by a senior warrior, I think she and Swiftsilver would get along nicely. Jeez, I just really wanna have a warrior chara mentor somecat! >.<)

Padding over to Bamboopaw, Tigerboom leaned down (really far XD) and toutched his nose to her forehead. "It'll be alright. We'll just laugh the pain away." His jolly eyes were laced with pain.

Dragonbelly just rolled her eyes, and Parrotkit did as well.

Sorry I missed the first RP :/

Well, when we first talked to her we thought she was having a stroke. We didn't find out until today that it was some sort of extreme migrane. So she's fine now :)
