Here is another new OC, Knife. He was inspired by Dragonologist's latest dragon OC.
Knife is tough and experienced. Once, he fell in love with another dragon named Sunstorm. They lived in peace for a while. But then dragon-slayers came to destroy Knife, and a great battle resulted. Sunstorm was accidentaly killed by the slayers and Knife was devastated. To prevent such a thing happening again, he became a warrior and trained himself ceaselessly.

In my opinion, If backstories aren't sad or don't have a few sad moments, they wouldn't be too interesting.
