Who wouldn't want to be loved? A central theme is going through my mind. This is the first drawing I tried to apply techniques learned with colouring and lighting. Please give some thoughts and tips!

It's nice that you attempted shading (you can't learn if you don't try) but everything is a little too solid and there are small gaps around the shaded areas. If you want to learn techniques than try finding an artwork that you like and then watch the video very closely, paying attention to EVERYTHING that they do...
