August's gold eyes flitted across the pages of his book. He sighed deeply. Like in every other book, they had k!lled his favorite character.
"Mocha frappachino" One of the eorkers in the coffee house yelled. August turned his head, a few blonde curls obsucring his face, and set the book down. He pushed back with his feet, moving is chair out, enabeling him to go and get his warm coffee.
Nothing much was happening today, and in spite of that August had taken a brake at a cafe near him.
He wrapped his silver paw around the warm cup, and smiled a 'thank you' at the employee before walking back to his table and resuming his spot in the book.

*cries because tiredness*
I hate to say this, but I GTG ;m; I've got an art class tomorrow, and it's midnight here.

Mason walked into the warmth of the coffee shop; the warm smell of sweets and coffee hit him as the door opened with a jingle. He pulled down his checkered scarf, showing his pointed nose and rows of sharp teeth. He ordered a cup of black coffee at the counter and glanced around. A cute snow leopard caught his eye. He was reading one of his favorite books, Song of Ice and Fire. (game of thrones :p never read it though XD) When his hot coffee arrived he put in some creamer and a sugar cube. The blue-haired shark turned toward the snow leopard and walked to his table.
"Is that book Song of Ice and Fire? It's one of my favorites." he said with a grin, "May I sit with you?" His smile was rather unsettling due to his four rows of teeth, but his charm was in the dimples on his cheecks.

(Sorry, I've been asleep all day! >.<)
August looked up at the blue-heired shark. //Thank god this fur hides my skin// he thought as his cheeks had turned a dark shade of red.
"Yes, feel free to sit!" August smiled and behind him, his silvery tail swayed back and forth.
"I'm August by the way." He purred.

"Nice to meet you August, I'm Mason." He sat down and extended his hand toward the leopard.(:p sorry its short)

August nodded in reply and took the shark's cold hand.
"It's nice to meet you." He smiled, bearing sharp fangs. August took another sip of his coffee. The leopard racked his brain for a question, anthying to try and start a conversation with the shark. "So...uh, have you come here b-before?" He asked sheepishly. /Dam.n it. Could I have sounded any more like an idiot./ He thought to himself.

"Yes actually, I come here everyday in the morning. My job starts early in the day so I come here. Today is my day off, but I love coffee too much to pass this place." He said and wrapped his clammy hands against the hot cup. "I don't think I will ever get used to the cold. Too bad I don't have cute fur like you." He gave August a wink and took a sip of coffee.

"Ha, it's just a trait of being a fluffy monster like myself." He laughed. "If you're cold, you could borrow my jacket." He motioned to the green-grey jacket hanging on the back of his chair.

He chuckled along with August and said, "Thanks, that would be great." He took the jacket and hastily put it on. He felt a little body heat left from August and the scent of old sp.ice. He blushed a little at the familiar scent and the curly fur that obscured August's face. "Hey, uhh, I'm going to go see a movie soon. Would you like to come?" He said with little confidence.
