After Seaflight joined our Dragon Pack, life continued in peace for some time - in fact, over a month had passed before anything unusual occurred.
It was a calm, foggy morning, my favourite time of the day. The Pack had stopped in a forested area to hunt for food. Deer and rabbits were plentiful, and the dragons enjoyed themselves, running and chasing prey through the thick trees. I targeted a stag and started to pursue it, hoping to make a kill, for I was very hungry after not eating in days.
Just as I was preparing to pounce on the stag, another dragon sprang out of the bushes and clamped its jaws around its neck. I heard a crunch and the animal fell. The dragon lifted her head to look at me, grinning.
The blue dragon stalked out of the trees and towered over me, gleaming aqua eyes narrowed. There was a grin stretching across her jaws and blood dripping from her teeth. I swallowed nervously and met her gaze, determined not to look away.
'Heh,' she chuckled. 'It's you. What are you doing out here, pup? This is a game for BIG, STRONG dragons.'
I growled and bared my teeth, stinging from the insult. 'That was my kill,' I hissed, pointing at the dead stag lying a short distance away.
'Not anymore.'
'I don't trust you, Seaflight,' I snarled. 'You're going to betray the Pack one day... I'm just waiting for the day it happens...'
For a moment I saw a flicker of emotion pass through Seaflight's eyes - amusement? Surprise? It was impossible to tell. But it gave me pause for thought.
'Have it your way, pup,' she laughed, beginning to stroll away. 'You're gonna be waiting for a very long time.'
Really awesome story! I think you are actually a better writer than me. You use better words, and there is more suspension. My stories aren't very well written. Also could you come to pstp's chat so we can continue our rp?

(Warning for violence in this whole chapter.)
