This dragon-like creature is the current leader of the volcan people (not star trek!) and was also the ruler of a long extinct race. The end of his first reign was caused by a tremendous earthquake that brought death upon his people while alternatively placing him in a hibernative state. He would remain there for 20,000 years before the volcans uncovered him while mining. His sentience immediately granted him status as a deity among the volcans.
