Btw, they are very intellegent. Language and writing are a huge part of their society. Unfortunately, they have no thumbs, so they capture small, primate-like animals to make things for them. I may also have them wear cloaks and have tattoos and even live in huts. ;D

How? They run them down in groups. Frocerti may be strong, but in groups, Volucanees are fast and powerful. Combine that with their intellegence, they're pretty good. Also, I never said that they were on the top. That's what the great terror was, plus a few other super predators.
