Four big cats, Kohaku, Orion, Kimya, and Larch, see shooting stars, and it makes them feel different. Humans capture them while they're high- the star made them feel like that- and take them to a testing facility. They break out with the help of a female red panda and a male raven. They travel through a valley, meet a small pack of wolves, and they all get through. The alpha wolf is shot by aerial hunters and dies.
Two dogs find the small, exhausted group, and lead them to a cave. The dogs, a male chow named Aspen and a German shepherd/wolf mix named Keila, tell them that they escaped from the same place three years ago.
Chicory, one of the wolves, leaves them in the middle of the night, saying he didn't want to be around the ones who kiIled his brother. The group travels along for many days, and then they come across a river, which they cross. They make it to a town and pass through, but Orion is hit by a car. He miraculously survives, and they carry on.
Larch recieves a message from the Gods, and then learns that they must travel North, to the Hidden Lands.
The group travels and goes through many hardships, and make new friends along the way, and eventually get to their new home.
But it is not what they expected...

And that's it. I left out a lot, since I don't want to give too many spoilers x3

It's very pretty and I love the shading and background.
