Well, there was a faux pack created by Vitani's father and a bunch of dogs in rebellion against the naturals. They made a camp in the Umbra forest, and lets say.. They didn't survive very long. The pack is very close, as most areas are unsafe. :P So not being in the pack is sorta a de.ath sentence.

The only reason shadow pheonixes haven't invaded ISP is the clearing seems to be less liked by the pheonixes. Shadow pheonixes are on the top of the food chain, the best predator. More of a dog eater than Ayah, and faster, and more brash than Cane.

XD Also, thanks to the underwater structures, most castaways on that side are sucked up into whirlpools. While only a few are near ISP, a fleet are away from ISP. So Ayah doesn't eat them, the whirlpools do. dB
