Coming out is really scary and can be dangerous. I came out last year and most of my family took it well except for my dad. He hardly spoke to me for 8 months and when he finally did, he said some really hurtful things and ended up kicking me out of the house. So if you do come out to parents, analyize the outcome or you could find yourself without a home. Thankfully I had the means to get a place with my boyfriend, but it's no where near easy.
