And, you could say he's... 'evil'... but he sacrificed himself at the end of the four swords manga to save Vio, Green, Red, and Blue, and everyone else on the planet. If you haven't read the manga, Vaiti (I think that's the right spelling) is about to distroy the four links, when Shadow brakes the dark mirror. I'm not giving anything else away from the manga. You want to read it, look up:
