GUESS WHO GOT A 3DS XL! The Link Between Worlds bundle, to be specific.
This was just a test to see how much different it feels to draw on the bigger screen. AT LAST, it doesn't feel so cramped. Major difference. MUCH easier to draw on.
There was gonna be a bit more to this picture but I decided to keep it simple.

The screen is 90 percent larger, which is nearly twice the size of the normal 3DS's screen.
Being someone that uses a fairly large tablet most of the time to draw on a computer, the original 3DS screen was REALLY TINY and really hard to draw on for me. The XL's screen makes is easier to get more details in my drawings, but even still, it's tiny in comparison to my tablet. That's just me, though. A lot of people on here don't use a tablet like I do, I'm assuming.
If you draw on the 3DS a lot, I highly recommend an XL.

@corn: If you want to get even more into digital art, I recommend you go for a tablet instead of a 3DSXL. I use a Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch, but Wacom tablets can be pretty expensive.
Colors is actually really limited compared to other programs that can be used on the computer. I use Paint Tool SAI on my compy, but it's generally not free. If you can't get that, a program called FireAlpaca is the next best thing. It's a mix of Photoshop and SAI, and it's completely free.
Whoops, sorry for the wall of text.
