She leapt on it's bristly back, causing the animal to buck and kick. A hoof kicked her in the stomach, but to avoid flying off, she bit it's muzzle and snarled. It rolled over, crushing her under it. She scrabbled at it's hide, her blunt claws only causing minor scratches. She struck with her jaws at the back of its neck, however, and that sent it running. Out of breath, Ayah didn't have the energy to chase it further.

Harvey nods. "Good... um...." He sat. "I'm really have no idea what to do... to be honest." He sighed.

Ayah came into camp, panting. She had a new scratch on her stomach, but avoided Agnes. Instead she strode over to a rock on the edge of camp and began to lick the hoof gash.

Lysindis seemed to move her head slightly away in a faint blush. "Thanks Talos. You're the best friend I could ever have.." She looked up at the bright, blue sky. "If it come to be that dire in which I will have to replace the beta, I will and can."

Nahp. All of the things on my species have a reason. Horns for defense and when males tusk it out (besides tundra males, they have no horns). Manes to either keep in heat (hence longer ones in tundra sub), protect back from sun or is a spiny mess of pain.

The eyes only do that because it actually helps activate chemicals that help them see in the dark. The chemicals are released out from the "Slit" in the eye.
