Kali used to have a calf. When she had her calf, she didn't have a pack. She wasn't a very good hunter, and food was scarce. Until her mate died too. She drifted away from the pack. She learned to survive on her own. She wants to be a calf sitter to remind her of her baby, to prove she can be responsible.
