Chemical was sitting beside the fire, cleaning her katanas with a a small piece of red fabric. She was waiting for the sun to rise so she could watch it like always. As she felt the warmth on her skin she looked up at the sun, it's gorgeous rays dancing on the sea's surface. A small smile appeared on her face, she was glad to finally have company here that was of her own species.

should they run into Kasuto since I havent been here?

Toast woke up in a grey,dark world,there was no sunlight,no Clyde,no nothing,just dead trees and fog.Toast walked around and saw a sign saying "YOUR LIFE WILL SLOWLY VANISH"Toast then woke up from her nightmare

Kitchi aroused her partner, Kasuto, still lie in a motionless sleep. "Wake up" she mewed. Kasuto herd her meowing and groaned "Ok ok stop meowing Kitchi"

Kasuto stretched and Kitchi climbed onto his shoulder even though she was slightly bigger than a house cat. She purred as he stroked her head. Then he looked up at the sky and smiled. 'This is my favorite time of day' he thought smiling.

Chemical heard the others awakening from there slumber. She continued cleaning her swords, then glanced at her left arm, where a large, purple-black gash was with odd, black, vein-like marking swirling out from it. The wound reminded her of a tree, for some reason.

Ravir sighed and sat quietly in the sand, resting his back on a tree. He only felt comfortable sleeping outside and away from the others.

Kasuto grabbed his spear and took an old rag out of his pocket and began cleaning it. Kitchi rolled her eyes and thought 'why does he need that weapon if he has me'

Chemical glanced up as Kasuto sat near her. She clenched her jaw, feeling awkward, but continued to clean her katanas.

Kitchi jumped off his shoulders and curled up near the fire and stared at the intense flames. (to her fire is always intense) She began to lick off a spot wear ash had smoldered her fur. "Yuck" she muttered.

(Dood, Flicca. Kasuto and Ravir should be dood-bro-homeslices. XD)

Raiga was laying beside Chemical, gnawing on her bone and flicking her tail.

Kitchi sensed the awkwardness between Chemical and Kasuto and she turned, giving Chemical a glare before sitting on Kasuto's lap (she knows Chemical likes him and she doesnt want it to happen XD) Kasuto smiled as his companion curled up on him. "Hi Kitchi" he said smiling as she rolled over and batted at the rag he was using

Chemical grumbled some curse words when Kitchi glared at her, and Raiga twitched her whiskers in amusem.ent.

Toast then thought of the sign //Your life will slowly vanish...//"what does it mean"Toast asked then saw Clyde with the other animals

Kitchi sneered at Chemical "He'll always like me". Kasuto looked at Kitchi and said "Well I know your having fun but I have to clean my spear now" (XD hes clueless on the tension between Chemical and Kitchi)

Chemical stuck her tongue out at the cat and said, "I bet he wouldn't be able to tell the difference between you and the turkey-dragon if I cooked you up," she retorted.

Kitchi jumped off his lap and plopped down infront of him. Kasuto continued cleaning his spear until he could see his reflection. "There now its clean" Kasuto said with pride in his voice.

"If you cooked me you wouldnt stand a chance with him" Kitchi said smirking "If I were gone it would break his heart"

Clyde then walked to wear Kitchi was "Hello"he said

Toast then stared into the forest "What does it mean by My life will slowly vanish"Toast then walked back to the camp

Chemical huffed, returning to wiping her swords. Raiga chuckled softly.

"Hi" Kitchi mewed turning abruptly away from Chemical, swishing her tail in discust(sp?).

(Raiga must be enjoying this -MCR XD)

Ravir noticed people were begining to wake up. He closed Magic and tied it back to his waist. "Grandpa told me not to show anyone Pequli." he mummered as the hairless cat looked strangely at him.

Chemical stood up, "I'm going swimming," she said, walking to the shore. She slipped off her shoes, jacket, shirt, and pants (But she has stuff on underneath xD ) and waded into the water until it was deep enough for her to swim out to her favorite rock.

Aveire woke up and stretched. She dragged herself out of bed and observed the sunrise. Yawning, Aveire strolled over to Toast. "Hey, good morning." she said. Aveire noticed that Toast was looking pretty lonely lately.

Kasuto watched as Chemical walked away. "What should I do?" he murmured questionably

Chemical climbed up onto the boulder to sit alone, where she once again grumbled curses under her breath.

"How are you doing"Clyde asked

"Well enough, you?" Kitchi mewed in reply.

(Just read your explanation. I hiss and bite. I love cats and pretty much act like one. Cat sounds and the like. :3 I even wish I had a tail. Do you think I might be a therian? I go outside and wander the forest behind my house quite often.)

Raiga decided she may as well go accompany Ravir and Pequli, since they seemed a bit lonely. She stood up and padded over, carrying her bone in her strong jaws.

"Fine,but theres something wrong with my owner...like something happened"Clyde said

"Oh... Maybe you should talk to Chemical" Kitchi said trying not to sound angry as she choked out Chemical's name

Ravir began stroking Pequli's velvety skin. Purring slightly, Pequli rest his head and front paws on Ravir's knee.

Raiga sat beside Ravir, and gnawed on her bone once more. She tried not to do much around him, so he wouldn't shy away.

Chemical combed her fingers through her damp hair, trying not to think about Kitchi. She could understand why the others were wary of her, but still longed to earn their trust. Since she had heard of the things humans do to one another, she had formed terrible trust issues, and was wary of anything. Which was the reason she had taken the weapons.

Kasuto saw Ravir and walked over to him slowly so he didnt walk away. "Hi Ravir" he said in a friendly tone trying not to scare him

( @Phantom: It's when you learn/embrace the fact that you're a therian. Also, don't brag about being a therian, or purposely go around meowing. I shifted at school once and attacked my teacher before having a seizure and fainting. Ravir noticed the large tiger next to him. He reached his other hand over and stroked her fur lightly. "Hello Raiga." he mumbled softly.

Chemical gently touched her wound, wincing and taking in a sharp breath from the intense pain.

"She can understand us and maybe help Toast" Kitchi explained to Clyde as he just looked at her.

Raiga purred loudly, closing her blue eyes and twitching her tail.

(I don't really do that. But hissing is pretty much reflex/instinct for me. I accidentally hissed at a sixth grader and he swore at me. I kinda want to be a therian now.... I'm assuming that 'shifting' is when your animal insticts and nature come out. What animal do you think I would be? 'Cause I might not be a cat. Dunno.)

Chemical muttered some more curses before diving into the water again.

( @Phantom: Like I said, research. And it could take months until you find your animal. And yes, shifting is when your animal side comes out.

Aveire decided to sit with everyone because she couldn't get a response out of Toast. She glanced at the fire, then closed her eyes and leaned back.

Yuka stirred from her sleep and woke. She got up, shook her pelt, then padded over to the shore to watch the waves ripple in the water.

Chemical made it back to the shore and shook the water out of her hair. She then got her towel that she had found on the beach a while back and dried off before putting her clothes back on.

(What are some good sources for research? Like, reliable websites or something? I'll research at night 'cause my mum might get susp.icious. And what is being a sumatran tiger like? I'm really curious about therian stuff nao! : : : : 3)

Kitchi walked away as she spotted Kasuto approaching Ravir so she followed him

Ravir looked up at the approaching teen. He murmured, "Hello..." and looked swiftly back at his feline friends.

Raiga purred some more, continuing to gnaw on the bone.

Chemical sat beside the fire again to eat some turkey-dragon meat.

"You dont have to be so shy, I'm Kasuto by the way" he told Ravir. Kitchi moved infront of Kasuto and purred as she approached Ravir. "Oh and thats my partner Kitchi" Kasuto said as he watched Kitchi

(that'd be funny if all the feline companions liked Ravir. XD)

(And being a tiger is fun, but it makes you want to be alone a lot, and my parents hate that I'm always alone and/or sleeping all day :T )

Aveire opened her eyes and ran her fingers through the sand. She picked out a seashell and examined it. Aveire put it to the side and looked at the others. "So, you think we'll find another monster to hunt today?" She asked no one in particular.

Ravir just nodded and continued petting the felines.

Pequli meowed to Raiga, "At least he's been talking more than usual."

Kasuto sat down under an oak tree near Ravir and looked up at the sky. Kitchi took a spot next to Pequli and Raiga

Raiga nodded, "Told ya he'd warm up soon."

Chemical shrugged, "Dunno. Maybe we'll have some fun with a gryphon or kiirin."

(Clammit, Toast! If you want others to talk to you, don't just sit around hoping they'll come over! Aveire tried to, but you ignored her! Go and be social if you don't want to be invisible!)

(Ravir grows a third arm to pet all 3 cats. XD)

Ravir let out a small sigh and pulled Pequli onto his lap. He shared his affection with all three cats and mumbled something.

Yuka noticed everyone grouping together, and decided to join in. She strolled over and sat down by Ravir just to see his reaction. (Heh, now he'll need four arms! Mwa ha hah! > : : : : D)

Pequli huffed and scoffed, "Yeah...but he's gotten about as warm as a thawing river."

Raiga flicked her ear as a gnat flew onto it, but continued gnawing on the bone.

Raiga then replied, "Well, soon enough he'll be warmer then a turkey-dragon's spines," she chuffed.

Kitchi let out a mrow of laughter "He'll warm up eventually, Pequli"

Noticing the collection of felines at his side, he let out a sigh and tried his best to stroke each of them.

Kasuto smiled "I guess Kitchi likes you Ravir"

Pequli snuggled closer into Ravir's warm belly and mumbled, "Hopefully his version of warming up isn't just cats..."

Chemical stole a glance at Kasuto, then sighed softly, looking down at her feet.

Yuka grinned at how exasperated Ravir was. "He definetly wants to keep us happy. Maybe he /is/ warming up a little. Or maybe he just likes cats." She purred as the boy stroked her.

Aveire hefted Rip Rattler. "If we mert up with either of those, I'll have fun, that's for sure. Maybe I'll get to decapitate one! That's always fun."

(Did anyone else give a name to their weapon?)

"Me too" Kitchi purred "Maybe he'll become friends with Kasuto"

Kasuto got up and looked at Kitchi then said to her "Im going to talk to Chemical but you can stay here and talk with your friends" Then he walked over to Chemical

Ravir was too busy to notice the voice addressing him. He made sure each cat got their share of pets.

Chemical heard footsteps approaching her and looked up, seeing Kasuto beside her.

"Hi Chemical" Kasuto said as he reached her side.

"Yo," Chemical replied, combing her fingers through her hair.

"I was wondering if you wanted to hunt with me?" Kasuto asked

"Sure," she blushed, "Sounds fun. I know some good hunting spots here," she said, getting to her feet.

Ravir withdrew his hands and sighed and said softly, "I'm sorry...My arms are getting tired."

"Great" Kasuto said grabbing his spear "I've been meaning to practice my spear too"

Raiga didn't mind, she just layed her head on his knee and closed her eyes.

Kitchi gave a nod and mewed "I wasnt here for the strokes of compasion anyways" even though he cant understand her

Chemical smiled slightly, "Yeah, it'll be fun. The best place to hunt is near the lake, I'll show you which way to go."

"Cool" Kasuto said following her lead

Yuka grinned again. "It's a shame he can't understand us. He thinks we'll get mad at him for no petting. I mean sure, stroking is nice and I'd like him to keep going, but I wish I could yell at him and have him actually understand my rant. Ya know?" Yuka deflated a little. "I wonder if we can learn how to talk,to humans?"

"Im not sure thats possible" Kitchi mewed "But it would be nice..."

Ravir almost grinned, but it didn't quite form on his lips. He pulled his babyblue and lightly striped scarf just under his nose.

Chemical walked into the trees on a worn down path, looking straight ahead and not saying much. "So... um..." she began awkwardly.

Raiga shrugged, "It'll be hard since your partners are older, it's easier to teach human cubs."

"Dang. It'd be so fun to scare unsuspecting humans. Walk up to them, they're already spooked 'cause I'm a jaguar, the just say 'Hello!' and they'll run and scream." Yuka swished her tail. She smiled. "Oh, if only. Think of all the fun. Then I'd be able to talk to Aveire...." Yuka trailed off.

(Do you think Yuka, since she's a cat, could influence Ravir to be with Aveire? Just a thought. Dunno. Please don't hurt me.)

"Kasuto is 19 so it would be very difficult" Kitchi sighed

Kasuto heard Chemical speak but didnt quite know what to say since she didnt finish so he silently followed

Raiga narrowed her eyes in thought, "Well... Chemical might be able to teach us... but it'd be difficult since we're not cubs either..."

"How do you like it here...?" Chemical asked, looking up at Kasuto.

"Hm. Well, if it wouldn't work, at least we would've tried. How did you teach Chemical to talk to animals, Raiga?"

Aveire stood up and stretched. "Well. I'm bored. What do you guys wanna do?"

(Well, Ravir isn't even interested in human friends, much less a /relationship/. Also, he's never even been around girls [other than his mother] before.)

Raiga twitched her tail, "Well, I just started with simple words and phrases that are easy to master," she replied.

"Yes, I do actually" Kasuto replied "I think Kitchi does ,too especially with all the other cat species here"

"Cool. Maybe it won't be too hard to learn how to talk to humans." Yuka looked off, then stood up. She shook the sand off her fur, then walked over to her partner.
Aveire looked down at Yuka standing by her. "Hey Yuka, wanna go for a walk? Maybe we could bring others. Do you think anyone would like to join us?"

"Heh, Kitchi doesn't seem to be too fond of me, though," she replied, looking up the sky.

Aveire cast her eyes around camp. "Hey, going for a walk with Yuka! If you guys wanna come with, that's fine!"

"I wouldn't mind a walk, Aveire," Winter responded to the brunette, standing up after sitting and watching the sea for a bit. It'd be good to stretch her legs after that fight days ago.

Chemical, after sitting her prey down, decided to join Aveire. "Hey Raiga! You want to join us?" she called.
Raiga got to her paws and ran over, rubbing against Chemical's legs and purring.

Aveire smiled. "Good, I wanted company." There was no sarcasm in her voice. "Dusk can come along if he wants. He might want to stay on your shoulder though." She looked at the wind whispering through the trees and wanted to leap up into one.

(They're going to learn that they are in this RP.)

The rat narrowed his eyes at Aveire's remark, while Winter simply chuckled. "Probably best for everyone, considering how dangerous he's been towards Raiga and Yuka (omg Dusk hates them lol)."

Raiga continued purring as she brushed against Chemical's legs.

(They could all go on the walk and find out.)

Ravir sighed sadly as the cats left him. He didn't want to move and go on a walk.

(That's what I was thinking)

Yuka glanced at Ravir. "Hey, come with. I know you can't understand me, but still. Get up and talk. Pequili, help me out." She padded over and nudged Ravir, determined to get him up.

Chemical combed her fingers through her hair, waiting for the others.

Ravir noticed the large cat nudging him. "Ok..." he murmured and softly started petting her head.

Pequli groggily looked up. "What?"

"No! Get up! Go and take a walk!" Yuka moved her head away from his hand and nudged him harder. "Pequili, help me get him to join us on the walk."

Chemical stayed where she was, just petting Raiga gently.

Ravir was almost knocked over he gasped and caught himself. "What's wrong?" he questioned gently.

Pequli meowed, "Huh? Why?"

(We'll just act like Kasuto's with us on the walk, 'kay guys? c: And Chemmy will be drooling over him XD )

"I have a feeling something's gonna happen. And this kid needs to be social, for crying out loud!" Yuka sighed, then nudged Ravir again. "If only he could understand. Wait. Chemical! Can ya translate for me real quick?"

"Hm?" the pale girl walked over, "Uh, yeah, sure Yuka," she said before glancing at Kasuto once more.

Pequli jumped up and growled at the leopard. "That's not for /you/ to decide!"

Chemical stepped between them, "Hey, stop arguing you two."

"I can tell something's going to happen! We must be here for a /reason!/ If you want him to stay, fine then! You'll miss something important! Chemical, nevermind. I don't need you to translate." Yuka abruptly stopped her nudging and angrily padded back to her partner.

Pequli grumbled and jumped onto Ravir's shoulders.

Ravir rubbed his arm where Yuka had been nudging him.

Chemical looked at Ravir, "Hey, you know, it'd be nice if you came... we'd enjoy your company," she walked back over to the group that was about to leave on their walk.

Ravir reluctantly stood up. "I'll go...but I don't think my existance will be much of a benefeit to anyone." he whispered to Pequli. Ravir slowly began walking towards the group.

Aveire was confused. "What was Yuka doing?" She asked Chemical. Aveire looked up at a tall tree, once again wanting to climb up it. "Hey Yukes, wanna climb again?" She murmured to her partner.

Chemical just shrugged and walked into the forest with the others, "Yo, kid! Come on!" she called to Bryanna.

Winter fell behind as the group began to go on their walk. Dusk remained vigilant. Ears p.ricked and whiskers twitching incase some monster was nearby.

Yuka nodded, a smile on her face.
Aveire grinned, and removed Rip Rattler from its holsters on her belt. She found a sturdy tree and charged toward it. Using a series of jumps and handholds with Rip Rattler, she was up in the tree in no time. She crouched and observed the others below.

Yuka sped toward another tree and clawed her way up. She leapt from branch to branch on trees until she was with Aveire.

(Aveire was in front so pretty much everyone saw her be awesomely epic and climb the tree.)

Yuka yawned and flexed her claws, digging them into the bark. She eyed a tree branch a yard or two in front of her, then crouched. She sprung forward in an arching, powerful leap and landed on the other branch.

Raiga looked at Chemical, then turned and followed Yuka.

Aveire grinned and stood up, one hand on the tree. "Heh. Finally, someone noticed. Doing this is nothing. Years of practice really helps. You gotta get momentum and leverage with a weapon." She peered at Chemical's katanas from up in the tree. "I think with some training, you could use those katanas to do this. It'd be different from my method, that's for sure."

Chemical looked at Taio, "Nowhere in particular, we're just walking," she replied with a shrug.

Chemical's attention shifted once more to Aveire, "I can climb, just not as awesome as you. I take a little while, heh." she began climbing, then sat next to Aveire, but was staring at Kasuto.

(are they still innthe camp, or have they left? :s)

Ravir walked slowly behind everyone observing the trees. "Isn't this pretty Pequli?" he whispered mesmerized (sp?).

Chemical chuckled at Bry's antics, but her eyes were still locked on the dark-haired teen.

(I just imagine Chemmy with a waterfall of drool from her mouth. XD)

Aveire smiled at the compliment. "Heh, thanks." She looked at the others below. "Hm. Interesting how we all got grouped together. It's a really unlikely team." She shrugged and stood. "Watch this!" She swung one chain of Rip Rattler at a tree branch higher up, and it latched onto the bark together like a grappling hook. Aveire tightened her grip, and jumped. She swung up onto the branch, then used the other chain to swing to the branch above the one Raiga and Yuka were on. Aveire landed on the branch, and pulled Rip Rattler with her. Then she jumped down to the large cats. "How's that?"

(I call it! >:D)

(They could head toward Mirror Lake. Maybe this'd be the first time they go there [Except Chemmy, she's probably been there hundreds of times] and learn their destiny.)

Chemical grinned, "That was awesome! Hey, you wanna go fishing at the lake?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Lake? Sure. And I think the cats would enjoy some fish. Yuka certainly would. Right, Yukes?" Aveire replied. She grinned at Yuka.

Chemical shrugged, "Raiga likes them, I think they're disgusting, but whatever."

Chemical jumped out of the tree so she could walk toward the lake.

"Eh. Fish isn't too bad, in my opinion. But I'd rather have turkey-dragon or something. And I'd like to think that the cats would really appreciate getting fish. What's the lake like?" Aveire jumped to another branch nearby, Yuka followed shortly after.

"Well, it's called Mirror Lake, because it reflects the sky all the time. A lot of exotic-looking fish live in it, which is cool I guess." She hacked away at some bushes and stepped toward the lake-shore, where she sat down and drooled over Kasuto again x3

Chemical was staring at Kasuto, when suddenly the lake water started glowing brightly. (It's sunset now, cuz dey been goofing off all day)

Aveire leapt through the trees until the lake was in view. She stopped on a branch overlooking it, and simply took it all in. "Wow, this is amazing! Yuka, look!" Aveire latched of Rip Rattler's hooks onto the branch she was perching on and jumped down, holding tightly onto the grips. The chain ran out a few yards above the sand, with Aveire's feet inches above the ground. She dropped down and yanked the chain down to the sand, then pulled the other one down.
Yuka grinned at the lake, already imagining all the delicious fish. She clawed her way down from the branch and walked down to the shore.

Ravir watched the pool of water as it glowed. He stared at it in awe. (sorry I haven't said anything. I just haven't been in convos with Ravir so there wasn't a need to, and I feel like p00p. :p)

Yuka jumped back, startled at the sudden glow. "What the?!"

Aveire gasped and watched the water, confused.

Chemical blinked, "Uh... it's never done this before..." she breathed.

Raiga stared at the glowing water, "What the...?"

Ravir walked to the water's edge and sat on his knees. He reached down to touch the magical water.

Aveire walked over to the water. It washed over her boots, but didn't act different. So she decided it was harmless and sat in the sand, still amazed at the lake.

Yuka saw Aveire sitting by the lakeside looking perfectly fine, so she walked up to the water and peered at it. "Doesn't look dangerous."

(And what does RMS stand for on the flag?)

Chemical reached down, touching the water gently. The light moved up her arm and stopped at her wound, healing it quickly, "Whoa..." she breathed.

Suddenly, a gorgeous silver buck came out of the water in the center of the lake. He walked on the surface, leaving bright, sparkling ripples as his hooves touched down on the water. It gazed at the teenagers with it's bright blue eyes, and it's antlers were made of crystal and adorned with various shells and gems.

Aveire and Yuka were too stunned at the deer to speak.

Chemical just stared, "Who are you...? :O " she asked softly, her eyes wide.

The buck seemed to be smiling, then speaked using telepathy, "Greetings, young warriors..."

Chemical just kept staring.

Aveire scooted back a bit. "H-hello...." She was still stunned at the deer. Even more so that it could speak with telepathy.
(I knew something was gonna show up from in the lake, but I thought it was gonna be a serpent or something like that. Not a deer.)

(OH MY GOD RAINBOW)

The buck stared at all of them, then spoke again, "You are all here for a reason. And that reason is to protect the kingdom, and mine, from the monsters that hunt here. In return of your services, I would like to give you all gifts," he said warmly.

(And I thought RMS stood for "Raiga's Monster Slayers". : : : : T)

(... I guess we could change it to that, it sounds better xD )

(sorry MCR. I think I'm done. I feel like I'm gonna throw up...)

Aveire turned to Bryanna. "Monsters aren't real? Then explain what that /huge freakin' turkey beast/ was. A friendly little kitten? I don't know what you're thinking, but monsters /do/ exist."

The deer blinked, "What do you think you fought three sunrises ago? That was a monster. And there will be many, many, more. As for your gifts, they are your choice. You and your partners may have only one gift each. Anything you want, you may recieve, as long as it is not for evil deeds."

Chemical looked at the others, "Um... you guys can ask for your gifts first..." she said, still staring at the God before them.

(What should Aveire ask for? And Tak, feel better soon! I survived an illness sweeping through my house a few weeks ago. I was the only one who didn't get sick. -u-)

(It can be anything, except for x-ray vision, super speed, etc.)

"No need to rush," the God said, dipping his head politely.

(ok doods. I'm back...But I gotta come clean cuz you're my dood bro homeslices. I threw up, but I made myself. Not because I want to be skinny or bolemic [sp], it's because I fell like sh!t and my head is trobbing and I just needed to relieve myself of my stomach pain...sorta like when a dog eats grass. Ravir was suprised by all of this. He was unsure of what his gift would be. Suddenly, an idea hit him. "I-I would like a quiver...one that never run out of arrows..."

(I have, like, every health problem imaginable .-. )

(Should Aveire ask that her weapon's chains never break and the scythes never get scratched/damaged?)

The deer nodded, then walked over and stood in front of Ravir. The God towered over him, so he bent his head down and rested it on his shoulder. His quiver glowed brightly, but didn't seem to change, "There you are, young warrior. I wish you luck on your journey."

Realizing that he should have asked to go home or at least send a message to his grandfather, Ravir looked down at his feet ashamed of his own selfishness.

Ravir noticed the great god had granted his wish. He gasped as he took a handful of arrows out, but it made no difference. Placing the arrows back he murmured to the god, "Thank you..."

"Do not feel bad, young warrior. You will see your grandfather one day," the God said kindly.

The deer nodded, then turned to the others, "And you all, what would you like?"

Chemical shrugged, "I guess you are... or maybe Pequli should go next..." she replied.

(Do the partners get wishes?)
Aveire stood up. "I wish that Rip Rattler's chains are unbreakable and the scythes will never get scratched. Is that okay?" Aveire asked nervously.

(Yes the partners do)

(Oh wait nevermind about the question about the partners getting wishes)

The deer nodded, "As you wish." He came and touched Rip Rattler, and it glowed brightly, again it looked no difference.

Aveire held up her weapon. "Sweet! All the nicks and scratches are gone, too!"

Pequli's eyes grew wide. *What? A gift?* he thought.

The God stood in front of Pequli, "Take your time, for you will not be able to change your request."

Chemical watched, then gazed at the glowing water again.

(Okay!) Yuka stepped up to the deer, suddenly gaining courage. "Since Pequili won't speak up yet, I'll go. I wish my claws would always be perfectly sharp and never break and all that."

The God smiled and nodded, touching his head to one of her paws. Her claws glowed, and grew slightly sharper.

Winter and Dusk stared in awe at the silver buck. This thing was incredible. But then again...it was a God, so nothing less should be expected.

(For their wishes...uhh...can Winter have night-vision like a feline's and Dusk be able to speak to humans?)

The God nodded, then touched his muzzle to her chest, and the area where her heart was glowed brightly.

Chemical looked down, she longed to wish for love, or a family... but knew he would say something annoying in response. "Um... well... I-I don't know..." she said, scratching her hair.

Chemical thought for a moment, "I've got it! I wish for the knowledge of herbs! I long to help others... but all I seem to do is cause harm..." she said to Lorenzo.

The God nodded, then touched her forehead, which then glowed brightly.

Chemical winced at the odd feeling, but toughed it out.

Lorenzo turned to Raiga, "And you?"

The tigress nodded her head politely, "I would like to breathe... underwater..." she said awkwardly, shifting her paws.

The deer nodded and touched her chest, which glowed brightly as well.

(Wait, breathing underwater is kinda like a superpower.... And someone should wish for the ability to sense an enemy's weak spots.)

If there was an award for 'Worst Live-Action Movie for An Animated Series', this would win hands down. I saw it once and I never want to see it again.)

Winter shivered, taking in the buck's appearence. "O-Oh holy nature God...m-may I have the gift of the night-vision of a feline...?" she stared hopefully. "I hope it's not too much..."

Lorenzo nodded, then touched his nose between her eyes, which began glowing.

Ravir nodded. "I-I understand Pequli..." his face fell and his eyes grew slightly sad.

The God's gaze softened, "I will give Pequli his gift now." He touched the cat's ear, and they glowed brightly.

Pequli gasped and suddenly, he was able to hear each animal and human's heartbeats. *They're so loud...I can /hear/ others' feelings...* he thought.

The buck turned and walked into the lake, "I bid you all farewell, and perhaps we shall meet again someday...."

Chemical watched him go, then stood up, "We should go back to the camp... we'll need our rest."

(If they meet more gods, will they get more gifts?)

(Maybe, we'll see. Also, let's get them to camp fast, because I feel light-headed from the smell of paint.)

Ravir pulled Pequli from his shoulder and held him in his arms. Hugging him tightly, Ravir felt lonlier than he ever had before. "I should be happy for you Pequli...but I'm too greedy. Please...forgive me..." Ravir slowly got to his feet and waited glumly for the others to move.

Chemical and Raiga walked toward the camp, and for once Raiga felt bursting with energy. Her wish for great stamina was worth it.

Aveire made use of Rip Rattler's reinforcements and climbed up a huge tree. "Woohoo! I'm liking this! Thanks, deer god!" She swung around having the best time of her life.

Yuka climbed up another tree. She appreciated her sturdier claws and loved that they never dulled. Yuka joined her partner in jumping around the treetops, feeling really upbeat.

Chemical smiled as she went through a list of herbs in her head.

(I think it's just us right now. Everyone's left.)

(Alright, well, I'm going to sleep now, the smell of paint makes me so nauseas)

Following the others back to the camp, Ravir found himself spacing out.

Pequli pressed his hairless head against Ravir's cheek. "What have I done? How stupid can I get?" he meowed to himself.
