WTF by Stalker Blade
I did a System Transfer and I lost all of my data and apps! That was the only reason why I did one in the first place! AUGH!!!...On the bright side, I got my Miis and friends back...And I have a big load of memory now also... :/

you have to copy the contents of the SD card from your old 3DS to the new one, system transfer doesn't do that.

1. Go to the eshop
2. Go to Settings/Other
3. Select My Downloads
4. Re-download everything for free

I hear ya. I upgraded to an XL yesterday and near everything was lost. Even weider, when I put in my old SD card that had all my games on it, it wiped it clean as well.

idk I did the same thing, but I kept the SD card in while transerring and moved it after the transfer was done. I had everything from before.

sadly nintendos networks have been having issues so its is extreemly risky to do a system transfer these past 3 days i just got away with doing one safley to my 3ds xl zelda edition

Isn't there an online data backup thing? Or the SD card? I've got a 24 gig card in mine so I'll probably use that in my next system too :/
