Chemical had woken up to see six strangers, along with their animals, passed out on the beach. She hadn't the slightest idea as to how they had gotten there, but all she knew was that she had to make sure they couldn't harm her or Raiga.
The tall, pale girl gathered their weapons and stashed them away, along with her tiger friend, Raiga's help. She returned once again, waiting to see what they would do.

Toast awoken by Clyde seeing 6 others "Clyde wake up big guy"Toast said nudging her partner

Chemical watched, her heterochromatic eyes flitting around to take in the other's appearances.

Aveire woke up, with a ki'ller headache and an attitude. "Ugh. What happened?" She sat up, hand on her head. Aveire didn't see the pale girl behind her. "Yuka! You okay?!" She looked around wildly for her partner. She noticed several other people unconscious around her, but was only concered for Yuka. Aveire spotted the jaguar, and sighed with relief. Just then, she realized that Rip Rattler was missing. Aveire started to freak out. "Yuka! Where's Rip?" Rip Rattler was her chain scythe, ( I guess it's a chain scythe now) and she felt exposed without it. Sure, Aveire could still fight with without a weapon, but she preferred kicking everyone's bu.tt with a wickedly dangerous weapon.

Chemical continued to watch silently as Raiga went into the forest to get something to eat.

Clyde snorted as always.Toast sighed with relief "Now lets go get some berries for you to eat"Toast said as she climbed Clydes back

Raiga was wandering through the forest, opening her mouth to drink in the scents of prey around her. She, after wandering for some time, eventually caught the scent of a pheasant and skulked after it.

Clyde was walking into the forest and soon saw berries.Toast got off him and picked the berries,she let out her hand so Clyde could eat them.

Raiga crouched as she stalked the bird. Once she had gotten close enough, she pounced. Her fangs sunk into it's neck and she thrashed it around until she heard a satisfying crack as it's neck broke.

Yuka started to growl at something behind Aveire. Aveire turned around and jumped to her feet when she saw the strangely colored girl behind her. "Who're you?" She asked, prepared to fight. "Answer the question. I know how to beat you up in a few moves." Yuka stood up and strolled over to Aveire's side, snarling.

Clyde enjoyed the berries and nuzzled his owner."Aww your so cute Clyde"Toast said as she petted his muzzle

Then they went back and saw 2 awake Clyde stood up and went back down snorting "Woah boy!"Toast said

Chemical smiled her signature, large grin. Her oddly sharp 'fangs' gleamed in the morning sunlight, "Oh, trust me. I won't allow you to touch me. Not when Raiga's around." She licked her lips, eager for the taste of blood. As if on cue, Raiga came back onto the beach, her muzzle stained with blood and a dead pheasant in her mouth.

Toast then sat down "Who are you guys?"She asked

"Tch." Aveire dropped her stance. "Have you seen a particularly awesome chain scythe? Dunno how it got lost. I don't even know how I got here." Yuka noticed the tiger walking toward them and stepped up. She snarled.

Raiga sat the pheasant down, then gazed at Yuka, "Relax, I'm not gonna fight. I was just bringing food for us," she chuffed, licking the blood off of her lips.
Chemical shrugged, "I dunno what you're talking about. You didn't have anything when you were zonked out on this beach."

(Oh, and the animals can speak to one another. The humans just here animal sounds though.

Aveire swore under her breath. She looked at the other people lying on the beach. "Who're these people?" She asked aloud. "Seems like they washed up with me." Aveire walked over to one and nudged them with her foot.

Yuka sat down. "Fine. Whatever. Ya gonna share?" She pawed the ground lazily.

Clyde sat down "So...who are you guys"Clyde asked the other animals

Yuka yawned. "Eh. I'm Yuka. If you wanna leave with your life, don't tick me off." She flicked at a pebble with a sharp claw.

Clyde snorted.

Raiga nodded, "Yeah, here ya go," she tossed the bird toward Yuka, then glanced at Clyde, "I'm Raiga."

Chemical watched Aveire with interest, then, as she overheard the animals introducing themselves, she told them her name, "I'm Chemical, by the way."

Yuka nodded. "Chemical and Raiga. Interesting. How can you talk to us, Chemical?" She looked at the pheasant, then began to eat it.

Aveire nodded. "Aveire. That's Yuka." She inclined her head toward the jaguar. "So you're sure you haven't seen my weapon? That sucks." Aveire looked around. "So, do you have a place? We can't just spend all day on the beach. We'll leave these people here until they wake up. Hey! You with the horse! Who're you?"

"Toast, huh? Interesting. Who'd name their child 'Toast'?" Aveire said, a hint of sass in her voice.

Chemical nodded at Aveire, "Yeah, just follow me down the beach," she turned to Yuka, "Raiga practically raised me, she taught me how to speak to the wildlife."
She then began walking along the shoreline, heading East toward her small campsite. Raiga told the other animals to follow, then padded after her partner.

[Guys, if I don't respond it means: 1) I got distracted by something. 2) My internet went down again.]

Aveire looked back at the strangers conked out on the beach, then followed Chemical. "How'd you make those animal sounds?" She asked, curious. Aveire didn't know a human's vocal chords could imitate a tiger's.

Yuka sighed, then dragged the pheasant carcass with her as she followed Raiga.

Winter's pale blue eyes fluttered open as twitching whiskers brushed her cheek. A small rat tilted it's head as the still-groggy teen sat up. Her hand instictively reached for her right hip, where her morning star usually was, but she grabbed nothing. Dusk's urgent squeak caught her attention, and Winter looked around fearfully at the people around, some still asleep, some awoken. There was also a small variety of animals around. Winter quickly scooped up Dusk, who managed to slip out from between her fingers and scurry up on top of his owner's hat. Winter sat in silence as her ane her dwarf rat scanned the area.

(Just saw your comment about da hair dye, Chem. And Aveire's highlights are natural. I think.)

Chemical shrugged, "Raiga's practically my sister. My parents left me here to attend to business in the kingdom, so Raiga raised me. She taught me how to speak to the wildlife here," she explained.
Raiga padded beside Chemmy.

Dusk flicked his tail in the direction the two girls with big cats were going. Winter decided she should probably follow. She stood up and brushed some sand off herself. Hesitantly, she began to walk forward. Almost holding her tongue, she asked "Excuse me...have either of you seen a morning star...?" hoping the one of the girls with the big cats would have an answer.

"Hm. I don't have parents either. They're in prison for a mur.der they didn't do. My brother died in a fire at his weapon workshop, and my sister had to take a cruddy job at a diner to support us." Aveire shrugged.

Clyde then slept

"Sounds tough," she turned, seeing Winter, "No, haven't seen any weapons," she replied. Raiga flicked her tail, looking back at the snack- er... rat- on Winter's shoulder.

Aveire turned to look at the dark-haired girl. (She was the one Aveire nudged with her boot! >u<) "Nope. Have you seen a chain scythe? Heh. Don't answer that." She smiled and turned back.

Yuka noticed the little rat and licked her jowls. "Hey, who're you, little rat?" She arched an eyebrow. (Do big cats have eyebrows?)

(sorry. I'll be here for a short time. I'm soo busy today. D:)

Pequli slowly opened his eyes, realizing he was surrounded by sand and bodies. He jumped up frantically sought out Ravir. Spotting his body, he wildly scampered over. He prodded his side with a paw.

Ravir awoke to Pequli staring at him and ramming his side with his forepaw. He sat up and let Pequli climb onto his shoulder.

Toast then decided to follow the others "My parents died from cancer,my brother...he disapeared"Toast said as she rode Clyde

Yuka looked at Raiga. "Should we split 'em?" She murmured. Yuka stopped and took a bite out of the pheasant.

(I have a feeling Raiga and Yuka are gonna be best buds x3)
"Eeyup. We'll split it down the middle, that way we each get some of the good stuff," Raiga growled, then took a bite out of the pheasant.

"O-Oh...m-may I accompany you at least...?" Winter asked in a hushed tone. Did the brunette girl mention a chain scythe? It'd be better to make friends with her, Winter quickly concluded.

Dusk bared his tiny fangs as the tiger and jaguar eyed him mischeviously. "I'm Dusk, and I will NOT be your nexr meal!" he squeaked irritably. Ready to begin a chain of swears, the rat was hushed as Winter gave him a few strokes down his back.

Chemical nodded, "The more the merrier!" she said sarcastically with a fake smile.

Raiga rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

Toast then looked up

Clyde looked at the others "free rides anyone?"he asked

Ravir reached his hand to his hip where his book "Magic" usually is. He felt the red leather cover and sighed with relief. Ravir noticed his bow and quiver were no where to be found. Upon standing, Ravir spotted prints in the ground as well as people and animals walking and sleeping. Ravir timidly followed the group slowly vanishing into the trees.

Raiga heard another human following them, "Hm?" her head turned, and she saw the dood with white hair.

(Passion, it's exactly the same with me. Too many stupid things. So, can we conclude this as 'fixed'? And joo better go to the minicon next year! >: : : : U)
"Eh, sure. I'm just following Chemical here." Aveire turned her head. "Looks like more are waking up. We got ourselves a little mob of people here."

Yuka smiled. "Looks like he doesn't want to play. Such a shame." She looked back at the pheasant, the mischievious smile still on her face.
(Heh, Chem I agree. Yuka and Raiga would be besties, and Chem would be besties with Aveire.)

Ravir flinched as eyes fell on him. He felt the need to hide behind a tree, but he walked foward, clutching "Magic" firmly onto his chest.

Raiga chuckled, licking blood off of her muzzle, "Aw, little rat, the kitties just wanna play."

Chemical raised an eyebrow, "Hey, kid. Come out here, we don't bite. Well... I might," she said with a creepy grin.

Toast looked back
Clyde then looked back "I probaly might step on you...-to Dusk-"Clyde said

Dusk gave a last irritated squeak, and squeezed himself between Winter's head and her hat, vanishing under the headwear.

Winter breathed a faint laugh. "Hah...wonder if the cats said something to get his whiskers in a twist..." she remarked as her rat took cover under her hat. "So...what're your names...? I'm Winter," she introduced herself.

"Toast"Toast replied to Winter

Aveire looked around. Almost everyone was awake. "Well, are we there yet?" She kept following Chemical.

"Well, Dusk, I'm Yuka. Pleased to eat-I mean /meet/ you." She grinned, revealing sharp fangs.

Ravir huffed and continued foward. He was wary of these strange new people.

"I'm Aveire. So, Winter, where do you think our weapons went?" She spottted Ravir. "'Ey, who're you?" She asked the quiet boy.

"I'm Chemical, the tiger's Raiga. Oh, and we're here." They entered a hidden part of the beach, where a large tent made of deer skins was set up. "Alright, welcome to our home," she said, motioning towards it with her head.

"Maybe...the ocean took them? W-We don't know how long we were out...a-and we are on an island," Winter suggested. She really hoped her assumption was false. Her morning star was priceless...

Ravir caught up with the group and felt his belly grow hot and nervous. "I'm...Ravir Elos Sarr..." he squeaked from under his scarf.

Chemical shrugged, "That's why I keep my katanas in the tent. That way nothing happens to them." She then went over to a fire in front of the tent, where a soup of some kind was cooking.

"Well, we'd better find 'em. I'm fully prepared to dive in the ocean to look for Rip Rattler." They walked into the area with the tent and Aveire sat down in the sand. Yuka arrived shortly after, still dragging the pheasant. But the pheasant was noticeably thinner and gnawed at.

Ravir looked down and kept walking, holding "Magic" even tighter.

Raiga decided to go into the tent to get something, which was just the thigh bone of a deer that she enjoyed gnawing on when she was bored.

As the group neared the campground, Winter's attention fell on Ravir. He was holding something to his chest...
"Excuse me...if you don't mind me asking...what's that?" Winter asked, pointing at the book Ravir held tight. Her clear blue eyes shone with genuine curiosity.

Yuka continued to eat the pheasant. She scraped off meat, and made quite a mess on the sand. Soon, the carcass was completely cleaned off. Yuka yawned in satisfaction and lay down.

Raiga lay down beside Yuka, chewing on the large bone.

(I'll be right back. I have chores. So yeah. I'll get them done fast!)

Ravir slightly looked up. "This...is Magic." He cautiously gazed around the camp.

Chemical stood back up, "I'm gonna go drag those others over here. Yo, Toast, mind if Clyde comes with me to help?" she asked.

(I've gotta go for now. I'll try to be back soon. If something important goes on, Wolfeh, you can control Winter and Dusk)

Chemical looked at Ravir, "Yo, kid, you wanna come help me drag the others over here?" she asked.

Ravir made his way past the others and sat in a quiet area. "Where are we Pequli?" he whispered to the shivering cat perched on his shoulders.

Aveire stood up. "If that quiet boy isn't going to help, I guess I will. Ready, Chemical?" She stretched and looked at Yuka. "Comfy?" She asked the jaguar.

Chemical nodded, "Alright, let's go. Raiga, make sure the soup doesn't boil over," she then turned and walked back to where the other boy and girl were zonked out.

Ravir looked up. "Uh...sorry...W-what do you need?"

(I JUST WATCHED THE PART OF CHIBITALIA WHERE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE LEAVES CHIBI ITALY OH MY GOD)

"I was just asking for some help. I wanted to drag the others over here, and I'll need extra hands to get em all over here," Chemical replied.

(THE FEELS I NEED ICECREAM THE FIRST TIME I WATCHED THIS I WAS SOBBING WHILE EATING ICECREAM WITH MOSSY-CHAN)

Aveire looked at the sky. "Hm. Pretty warm for winter." She noted. Aveire took off her still-wet jacket and hung it on a branch.

Chemical nodded in agreement, "Yeah. But it's always pretty warm here," she said with a shrug.

"Oh...ok." Ravir stood and reluctantly tied Magic tightly onto his waist and waited to follow the strange girl.

Chemical walked along the shore, back toward where they had all met.

Aveire shrugged. "Heh, I could get used to this warmth." She smiled and turned to Chemical. "Ready when you are."

(Oh and Aveire followed Chemmy)

Ravir walked behind the girls and reached up and patted Pequli's hairless head.

Chemical glanced at Aveire, "Yeah, it's nice. Well, anything you wanna talk about? So we can get to know each other?"

Ravir gladly stayed out of their starting conversation. He gained enough confidence to take in the beautiful scenery.

Raiga stood up and padded over to the boiling soup. She gently breathed on it so the bubbles would go down and not boil onto the fire.

"Well, dunno. I live in a cramped and somewhat filthy apartment, I hate cities because they're too crowded and cruel, I like climbing trees, and I have a chain scythe. Well, /had/ one." She put her arms behind her head and kept walking. "After my parents were arrested, I had to take to the streets. Wasn't so bad, but I got kicked around and stuff. I found Yuka huddled up in a tree once, and she's been my partner ever since. My brother Adam taught me how to use Rip Rattler. Then he died. Great." She turned to the others. "Well. That's my sob-story, what about you two?"

Chemical shrugged, "Well, I never really knew my parents. All I remember is being with Raiga. She taught me animal-speak so we could com.municate, because my parents are in the main part of the kingdom for Gods' know what," she rolled her eyes.

Ravir thought about his grandfather, but he decided not to talk about it. *They're so chatty...* he thought to himself.

(You know us girls, we don't know how to shut up x3 )

Aveire glanced at Ravir. "Hey, why're you so quiet?" She asked.
(I'm gonna be leaving in a half an hour or so. Dunno when I'll be back. Probably at 10-ish.)
