-He always seems to keep his right eye closed.
-His tail is actually his companion, who's name is Aya.
-Itami carries around two giant 'needles', which are his weapons of choice.
-Aya's saliva is poisonous.
-The thread and needles on Itami's necklace are for 'mending' (? o^e).
