Lions primarily live in Africa, but a subspecies lives in Asia. This sub-species is smaller and more suited to forest life than the typical African lions. It is also rarer and endangered and hunt buffalo (not bison), small deer and some pigs. :D I know lots more, but then I'd be stealing other's facts. XD

Facts: Only the King may mate with lionesses. The lion is the only feline with a physical appearance that shows what gender they are. Young males may leave the pride and travel together in a small group to join/make their own pride. Male lions with darker manes get the girls (Actual studies have proved it doods. Lionesses like darker maned toms). All the lionesses raise the cubs together, although one will be a 'nanny' (Often times an older lioness) that watches the cubs while the other lionesses hunt.
