By now Carina was frantic. She'd checked everywhere inside Witherville. Their house, Wendy's house, the tower, everywhere. "Ok, come on, calm down" she told herself "They're obviously out doing something" she thought as she headed for the East Gate. "They're fine!", but she couldn't fool herself. She was nowhere near as certain as she sounded.. "Silently hoping she was right, Carina left through the East Gate

"Boom? Endie? You guys here?" Carina called, her voice echoing throughout the forest. No response. The entire forest was gripped in an eerie silence. It was as if Carina was the only living thing left.
After a few minutes, Carina called their names again.But just like all the other times, no response.
The sun had finally peeked over the woods and was now casting strange shadows on the ground and trees. Suddenly, something caught Carina's eye. She looked to see something shining as the sun's light hit it. The shiny object was a blue-green colour. She knew exactly what it was. Lifting it by it's broken string, Carina became more afraid than ever.
It was Endie's Ender Pearl

Carina ran. Ran as fast as she could, hoping to find her friends. Something had happened but she had no idea what. She didn't even want to start thinking of the terriftying possibilities. She didn't have to. Suddenly she heard the sound of rushing air behind her.She stopped and turned around, listening carefully. There it was again, to her left this time. Carina knew for a fact that she'd heard it somewhere else before. Then it hit her. She quickly took out her sword and dived out of the way as a dark figure pounced from the shadows, before disappearing again. She heard the sound of rushing air once more. She turned to face the newcomer. "Did you miss me?" Sage asked, evil smile on his face, ender blade in his hand. "Sage!" Carina exclaimed in both shock and anger. "What's the matter Carina? Not the ender you're looking for?" he asked menacingly, his smile growing wider. "Where are they?" Carina demanded through gritted teeth, clenching her fists. "You honestly think i'm going to tell you?" Sage replied, running his dark hand down the smooth side of his Ender Blade. "Tell me or else!" she exclaimed, but Sage knew it was an empty threat. "Well, if you want to know that badly, come and find out!" he told her, pointing his sword forward. Carina didn't need to be told twice. With that, she charged into battle.
