Pinestar noticed that his Clan seemed thinner, but was doing well. They got along well with the raccoons and were learning many new fishing techniques from them.
Frosted Pine, Ar's daughter, had given birth to one buck, who looked just like Ar.

Pepperstrike was getting bored if seeing dirt now, He walked over to Pinestar and sighed. "Pinestar.. How long do we have to stay here?" He sighed.

Jetpaw yawned and smiled as Nightkit was nuzzled into him as usual, She was getting bigger now and he knew soon she would be old enough to be an apprentice.. Then he would have to stop sleeping beside her..

Conifertail rolled over, her stomach was starting to hurt more and more now, she knew she would give birth not long from now.. She didn't want to give birth in a hole.

Foxtail felt clostrophobic underground.He craved fresh air and sunshine. He paced back and forth his bushy tail swishing irritateingly (sp). * I feel like a kitty pet being stuck in confinement*

Pinestar sighed, "Hopefully not very long..."

Snowtail padded over to Dewpelt.

Petalkit scampered out of the temporary nursery. Her lungs felt better ever since her mother had helped her but she was cautious about her breathing

losteye studdied the kits, watching them play. he remembered the fox swiping, clawing, and hurting. he shuddered and glanced away.

Sandpaw looked around and sighed. She didnt want to eat fish much longer but they all had no choice. Her stomach growled but she stuck her tongue out as the smell of fish filled her nostrils. (i can only rp for a little bit)

"Naw, just wanted someone to talk to," Snowtail mewed, licking her forepaw.

He looked away. He might of been leader...... he shook his head. pinestar was a good leader. he deserved it. He grinned proudly. *my son,* he thought. his chest felt like it would exlpode in pride and he sighed loudly. "would anyone care to bring me new moss?" he called, brighting at the sight of apprentacies.

Leaf overheard the elder asking for new moss, and she happily obliged. She brought him a mouthful of the glowing-moss.

Snowtail leaned gently against her former apprentice, "It's okay... we'll get out of here soon..."

Pepperstrike sighed "Ugh.. Cats shouldn't live in a hole like rabbits!" He sighed and sat beside his brother Losteye.

Conifertail jolted awake, She kept having dreams about her losing the kits.. She breathed heavily and looked terrified.

Jetpaw yawned and nudged Nightkit "Oi you Deadly Nightkit get up?" xD

"thank you leaf, " he murmered, as he began to scoop the moss up.

River looked around at all the cats. She wasnt used to all the cats. The crowdation made her want to crawl to the surface but there was no way

Shadowstorm survayed the camp. *how peacefull it is, * she thought, becoming lost in her thoughts. snow fluttered quickly down by the secound, and she worriedly was jostled back. "this is alot of snow," she remarked. "id better tell pinestar." she lept of the branch of a tree and padded to his direction.

Goldenfur purred as he watched Petalkit scamper out of the temporary nursery. She looked around but couldnt find anyone she would like to play with.

Pinestar cleared his throat, then stepped on to a high ledge, "Attention, cats of AuroraClan, please gather beneath the... High Ledge for a clan meeting."

Snowtail was about to reply, when she heard her brother's voice calling the clan together.

"pinestar?" she called, accepting a greeting with a nod to a nearby clanmate. Losteye gathered up the moss and seltled it down in his nest. *ill thank leaf later,* he thought as he moved it into a nest. "there, " he murmered ad he staitened the last peice. he walked out of the elders den, looking for the kits that were playing nearby.

Jetpaw smiled "Oh yeah!? I'm the ruthless Jetshade!! and I'm the evilest cat in Aurora Clan!!" He grinned evily.

losteye turned around and slamed into snowtail. "oh, im sorry" he said, trying to get up again.

shadowstorm went underneath the highrock. *perhaps he already knows,* she thought.

Pinestar gazed down at his Clan, along with the raccoons, "I know this has been a rough moon, but along with that, there has been blessings. I'd like to name an apprentice, along with a warrior." He smiled at his Clan mates.

Sunpelt shook his golden pelt, trying to get rid of the dust. Overall, he liked being unnderground. The warrior found the darkness comforting. Though his favorite place to be was outside in the open, feeling the tension of a coming storm ruffling his pelt, being underground didn't bother him as much as most other cats. Even the fish were okay.

losteye regained his breath. "im sorry, " he apoligized. "i never saw you there," he stammered. he once again tryed to pull himself to his feet again, this time succeading.

Conifertail, Pepperstrike, Jetpaw & Nightkit walked towards the rock

"pinestar, before that, may i tell you something to u and the clan?" shadowstorm called out. (racoons? <D)

Pinestar continued, "Silverkit, please come here," he mewed, gazing at the silver she-cat.

Sunpelt twitched his ears, interested. good news was always welcome.
Lionfur tilted his head slightly as he listened to Pinestar, eyes half shut.

Jetpaw sat and sighed. *Great.. another warrior.. i'll never be one" Nightkit smiled "I want to be an apprentice soon Jetpaw!" She grinned. Conifertail mewed to Sunpelt and sat beside her mate. Pepperstrike didn't speak

"Leaf, you have proved your loyalty to AuroraClan, and I shall give you your Clan name. From this day forward, you shall be known as Leaffrost. We honour you for your kindness and loyalty."
Leaf smiled, feeling butterflies in her stomach.

Shadowstorm snapped her head back looking at losteyes outburst. "im sorry..." she said quietly to pinestar as she hurried down the rock.

Lionfur's lungs were bad, and since the accident, days after he had become a warrior, he had known he could never go back to that life. He felt lost: he could be neither warrior nor medicine cat, and the whispers in his dreams brought him no closer to either. yet it only brought him joy to see the new warrior and apprentice.

Pepperstrike nudged his brother "Bro! Sh! Its okay, calm down!" He nuzzled his brother

Foxtail sighed quietly. *leaffrost eh?* He smiled gently at the newly proclaimed warrior. He gave the warrior a nod and gave an even bigger smile. Foxtail could feel excitement rippling through his body.

"oh no"he muttered to himself. Realizing what had happened he dug frantically untill he reached the frigid surface. He called out loudly "jetpaw nightkit where are you?!"

Jetpaw was shivering but he couldn't go back, No way he didn't belong there. He suddenly stopped when he heard a squeal. He gasped "NIGHTKIT!?" He called franticly "NIGHTKIT WHERE ARE YOU?!" Nightkit squealed but was far away from him. She collapsed in the snow and was getting weaker. Jetpaw ran as fast as he could and found her. He curled up beside her trying to keep her warm. *We can't go back.. I can't see a thing.. Hold on Nightkit"

Foxtail trudged through the snow , continually calling out the missing cats names. The storm was blinding and his fur was begining to clump with snow . His strides started to become shorter and his breathes shallower.

Conifertail fell asleep and Pepperstrike snarled "I knew Jetpaw wanted to leave.. He told me.. But I never thought he would go in this weather!!"

Sorrelpaw stared hard at the glowing moss that lined the cave. She began to bat at it out of pure curiosity.
Wolfkit and Lionkit were playing with a ball of the glowing moss. "I've got it!" Lionkit mewed as he leaped on the ball.

(Pepper n Foxtail r the only ones who've noticed so far xD N Foxtails already out looking)

Pinestar overheard Pepperstrike, "What?! That mousebrain! He took a kit with him too?! I knew that cat was no good... Where's Foxtail? Damit! He went too didn't he?!" Pinestar thrashed his tail.

Jetpaw heard his name but refused to move, Nightkit shivered "J-Jetpaw.. I'm C-cold.." Jetpaw cuddled up to her more "I know, I know, Hold on, You shouldn't have followed me you foolish kit"

" gah... " Lionfur pulled himself to his paws. " We gotta go find them... " not waiting for an answer, he plunged into the hole in the snow, leaving the young warrior alone.

Birchkit toddled after his siblings, trying to keep up.

As Foxtail staggered he nearly tripped over two furrballs. He looked at them in shock noticing that in reality it was jetpaw and nightkit. He stumbled closer and knelt near the two cats "are you okay " he said shallowly breathing. He curled up next to them to keep warm coiling his bushy tail around them.

Pepperstrike shook his head, "No look.." He walked to the hole. "Nightkits tracks are fresher.. Jetpaw left.. and Nightkit followed him.." He followed his leader and clambered through the dug hole.

Pinestar growled, his patience wearing thin. He leaped through the hole to follow them.

Jetpaw looked at him "No.. Shes not gonna make it much longer Foxtail.. She followed me!" He shivered and Nightkit coughed and breathed weakly. "J-jetpaw..."

Jetpaw was laying over Nightkit now, trying to keep her as warm as possible, He was a fool, he should have made sure noone was following him first.

Lionfur trudged through the snow, his breathing slow and shallow. though his body was weak, he had a strong mind and great ears, so he could hear the other cats. now the only problem was reaching them...

Pinestar was running ahead, and through the hail and snow he saw Jetpaw. He ran over as swiftly as possible.

"See you again..!"
Honeyflower meowed. Watching as the Clan franticly began to search for Jetpaw and Nightkit. Suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her belly.
"N-no the kits can't be coming this soon.." She breathed quietly. Not Seeing Rivertail nor his apprentice.

Finchpaw cried out before tripping over Snowtail. Laughing as he shook the moss and dirt off his fluffly pelt.

Jetpaws half dead and all his warmth is keeping Nightkit holding on,

Jetpaw collapsed in the snow but still cuddling Nightkit he mewed quietly "P-Pinestar!?" Nightkit breathed weakly now.

Snowtail giggled, "I guess I win," she meowed proudly, holding her head high.

"why did you even try to leave" Foxtail inquired. He looked around though he could barely even see anything except snow. He looked back at the cats and huffed loudly "we need to find shelter". Foxtail scanned the horizon managing to spot a hollow tree. "c'mon theres a hollow tree that we can take shelter in!" he yowled.

losteye walked forward, out of the den, exaling a large deep breath.

As Wolfkit prepared himself to hit the ball he had noticed his brother. "Hey Birchkit!" He mewed.
Lionkit nodded his head in greeting to the kit. He began to look around, wondering where his siblings were. *Where is Petalkit and Nightkit?*
Smokekit just looked at the group with his pale green eyes.

Pinestar clenched his jaw, "Sh... you'll be okay..." he looked at Jetpaw, "Can you walk...?"

Sunpelt rubbed against Conifertail gently, then stood up and walked over to the opening through which Pinestar had left. he considered going out, but decided that with only one good eye he would only cause more trouble.

Birchkit squealed, "Hiya Wolfkit!" he pounced on his brother's tail.

Jetpaw nodded and struggled to his feet. "N-Nightkit.. come ere.." With her last bit of Energy Nightkit shuffled towards him. Jetpaw picked her up by. "P-Pinestar.. S-shes not gonna make it back to the holes.. I'm such a idiot, I didn't know she was following me"

Wolfkit giggled as he pushed his brother away gentlely with his paw.

"pinestar your here" foxtail said as he started to cough loudly. He tried to get up but stumbled. He closed his eyes for what seemed to be a moment but then blacked out.

Shadowstorm walked forward. (ill just be her) "come silverkit, we have a territory to explore!" she called cheerfully. "comming!" a small voice called, as silverkit hurried over. "do you need any prey?" "n-no i ate." silverkit awnsered. "im nervous. ive never been out of the camp." she addmitted. "its ok, ill keep you safe. i was nervous too." Shadowstorm began padding out of camp.

A cat collapsed into the snow beside Pinestar. " T-thank Starclan I found you... " Lionfur managed. " Guess you got here first... i'm not much good here, but i know of a safer, warmer place nearby, " he offered.

Pinestar picked the blue-eyed kit up, "Let's get back to the cave..."

Birchkit giggled, falling back.

shadowstorm paused as silverkit lept accross the entrance with pride. "first time out!" she delclared as shadowstrom chuckled, continuing.

Jetpaw stopped and looked down "Take her home Pinestar.. Leaffrost will kill me.. Its my fault.. I don't think i'm going back.. I don't belong here..."

Foxtail mumbled something that couldnt be decoded. He coughed and sputtered.

Pinestar entered the nearest tunnel, which, thank StarClan, lead to the cave where the rest of the Clan was located.

Shadowstorm sniffed her way through the tunnels, silverpaw trailing behind. The tunnel turned and she led silverkit on.

Silverkit jumped as something touched her flank, then realizing it was shadowstorms tail tip. she hated it down here, and she could scent shadowstorms uncertainty as she led her.

losteye murmered his love to his long lost mate, who forever hated him. he sadly thought of old memories, not able to stop the bad ones from coming.
jetpaw raced onward. "RELP! UNYNE ER MH?!" he stumbled and fell, coisioning nightkit as he fell. "oh no!" he grabbed the kit and looked at it. "oh god starclan...." he picked him up and ran with all his might.

Shadowstorm sniffed the air. "pinestar! over here!" she called, as she padded quickly to his scent.

She emerged to the surface, grabbing hold of the ground to keep steady. "stay silverpaw!" she yowled over the wind as she helped pinestar down.

Blackpath saw the two she-cats over by the glowing moss,he decided to pad over and talk to them. "Interested in this 'ere glowin' moss?"

Snowtail nodded, "Yeah, I wanna touch it..." she reached forward, gently pressing a paw against the soft, cool moss. Her eyes stretched wide, and glazed over as she focused on nothing. Her muscles stiffened, only quivering slightly.
